Dot-lined White moth larva (Artace cribrarius), August 2023
Southwestern PA
This guy crawled right into my garage while my dad and I were trying to fix my car. Of course I had to stop everything and place him somewhere else.

Pigskin poison puffball (Scleroderma citrinum), September 2023
Southwestern PA
Again, best guess at fungus ID! I didn't get a spore print or break it open.

Stump puffball mushroom (Apioperdon pyriforme), October 2022
Southwestern PA
My best guess at ID! I'm not good with fungi.

Moth (order Lepidoptera), October 2022
Southwestern PA
Insect ID is not my thing, and everything I tried insisted this was an Isabella tiger moth, which I know it's not. Isabella tiger moths have dark legs, this moth did not! If anyone has a better idea of what this moth is, I'd love to hear it!

Peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus), March 2023
Washington DC
I promise it's a Peregrine! It was moving too fast for me to get a photo other than this unflattering one of its butt.
