I haven't put anything on this blog lately, so I decided I'd make some goggles to show everyone. This is just the start, when they're finished they'll have the pokemon logo down the side.

Current nerdy projects and another update~!
Current projects I am planning/doing:
Manaphy Choker (Simple braiding of 5 (Maybe 6, I dunno) rubber bands and an old Manaphy keychain's charm. I'll get that done as soon as I can find my rubber bands for it.)
Le making of various Homestuck charms (As soon as I get the modeling clay and I get far enough into homestuck to find some iconic symbols)
TARDIS blue friendship bracelet (I'll probably make 5 of those.)
Hetalia themed charm bracelet (Need the charms)
Alice in Wonderland themed charm bracelet (looking for a card charm)
Pokeball cuff Kandi bracelets (I need to learn the technique, that'll take a lot of practice.)
So now for the update time! In this exciting update- Giveaway info! Worth the read, I assure you!
I have already decided that I'm going to start saving up for when I get 100 followers, even though I only have 5 now. I NEED a LOT of fandoms to make things for, because I want to get a variety in for the giveaway. I have plans for
Homestuck
Doctor Who
My Little Pony
Pokemon
Gravity Falls
Hetalia
Rise of the Guardians
but I need SO many more! Not to mention any specific charms or items that anyone has any ideas for, for anything really! So please please please PLEASE contact me some how with ideas for things, PLEASE! I always have my ask box, submit box, and fan mail open. I'd like the idea that even it you can't send me an idea, you could signal boost this so I can get ideas from others. PLEASE, guys! OH! and before you men run off saying "Jewelry's stupid!" I promise, I make man jewelry as well.

Video
Very Helpful! I especially love it because it's essentially stitch beading on a bigger scale. I'm hoping to learn to stitch bead soon, and this may be the secret to learn it easily, guys! Expect some Rainbow Dash cuffs soon, guys!
youtube
This is literally so badass. I’m going to make a million of these cuffs! :D Thank you so much GingerCandE on youtube and on Tumblr! This is one of those videos I recommend you watch through and pay close attention first then watch through again as you try to make it. Good luck, kandi kids!

Yet another update
So recently I figured out what "Kandy" is, and I've grown obsessed.
Before I was like "What the heck? It's just plastic beads on string. There's no skill to it, there's nothing special about it, why does everyone wear this junk?" And then a friend at Church explained it to me...
When you give Kandy to people, you're giving them PLUR, which stands for "Peace" "Love" "Unity" and "Respect." All of a sudden, plastic beads on plastic cord has a brand new meaning.
Good thing I have a lot of old plastic beads, because I will eat through them. I also got a BUNCH of stretch cord today after church.
So yet again I'm asking you guys for ideas. I want to know how to make this super nerdy. I'd love to make Nerdy Kandy, because that just screams PLUR to me. If you guys have any websites at all to buy beads I desperately want to check it out.
Be expecting some pictures with basic color schemes of characters. I'm liking the idea of the Mane 6 color scheme, so I'll start off with some of that kind of Kandy, for my bronie friends.
Thanks for reading! ~Ciao!

Just an update
I know that I haven't posted much, I don't quite have the stuff to make specific pieces from TV shows, it tends to be pieces that are more... inspired by the fandoms. So, that being said, I'd love to see any blue prints that your guys want to come up with, and I'll try my best with them.
I have many beads, and I'm going to start making those bracelets that look like they're a complex woven pattern of seed beads, but you'd be surprised. I also have countless techniques at my disposal. Plus, I need all of your help when I'm making things for fandoms, because I'm not quite familiar with a lot of them. Even if it's just a color scheme (TARDIS blue anyone? What about the colors of the mane 6?) I can work with it. A name, a feeling, ANYTHING! I just want SOMETHING!
In the winter I find it very hard to find inspiration. Especially when all of my supplies is confined to a box. T-T And then I try to draw out a blue print, but then my mind is all like "No, I'm going to give you better ideas for your piece and have you completely scrap your original idea." But if I play with the idea and don't write it down then it's like it flies under the radar.
If anyone has a place I can get some nerdy beads or charms, I am more than willing to check it out. I'm wanting some TARDIS beads to make some earrings, but if push comes to shove, I'll start playing with modeling clay and make my own charms.
I also follow any jewelry making blogs that post the techniques they used, so if you make jewelry, send me a link.
The last thing is that if anyone has a good technique that can be used for making jewelry, send me the name of it. I'm always ready to explore techniques. Even if it's something like leather work. You may not think it'd be useful, but braiding with 5+ strands proved useful in making chokers out of rubber bands. That brings me to my next post.
Thanks for reading! ~Loco

So here's the Jack frost bracelet I just finished. I could easily go on a rant about how much I hate it, but instead I'll just list what went wrong.
Everything about this bracelet hates me. First I stamped in the "S" upside down, then the outline didn't show through, then I actually DIDN'T have a royal blue stain I could use for an outline when the turquoise didn't show enough, then the paint brushes decide to hate me, and now I can't get a good picture of it.
I am so done with leather work for the day. So. Ebbing. Done.

Ohmigerd Jack Frost
Okay, so I'm making a leather bracelet that says "Frost" for this one awesome blog (http://ask-swag-jack-frost.tumblr.com/) and I just got the stain for it today.
7:50 Okiedokes! I'll start with outlining the letters and patterns in this turquoise acrylic paint! Then I'll go back over it in a lighter, silvery version. The out line will show through! I know it will!
8:10 Augh... I hate hunching over like this... but I don't have a table to work at, and the floor gives me endless working space... Bah! Crafting is a lot of fun, you'll get over it, Loco!
8:30 Alright! Done with the outline! Now to mix the paint for the right color.
8:35 Wow... I'm using a lot of this paint..
8:40 Welp, I think I got the mixture right. No point in delaying the inevitable!
8:42 No! NoNoNoNoNoooooo! It's blocking out all of the hard work I put in outlining! Nooooooo! T-T
8:45 Okay, this is stupid, I'll just outline it again when this is dry. No problem.
8:50 WHY IS THE TAN SHOWING THROUGH?!
8:55 Okay, okay, I'll just keep on adding more paint, and maybe I can get a solid base on it tonight.
9:10 Okay, I give up. I'll let this dry and try adding more tomorrow... T-T *looks down at fingers* They're all silvery blue... Maybe I should of worn gloves. o.o
Yep, so that's how that went. I'll have pictures up tomorrow when I finish it.

Alright, I'm calling that necklace done. I'll have pictures up tomorrow when I have better lighting. It's extremely elegant. So I'm not sure what I'll wear it with. Definitely if I go to a con, though. It almost looks like something Belle would wear from beauty and the beast.
Okay, so here's a question before I go to sleep. I'm making some Rise of the Guardians themed bracelets, and I want to make 7 of them. I've already got down that I'm going to make ones that say "Frost" "Santa" "Tooth" "Bunny" "Sandy" and "Believe" but I need one last word to go on that last bracelet, and I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?

mbarceusanswered yourquestion:Gravity Falls Choker so far. I’m adding beads, and...
why is it on a paper towel roll
A few reasons:
I didn't want to model it
I don't have a mannequin
It's easier to work with when it's on something, then it's an actual necklace instead of a pile of chain
Paper towels can be fashionable too, you know

Gravity Falls Choker so far. I'm adding beads, and it looks really really elegant. What do you guys think?

Gravity Falls Choker that I've been working on. I need to tweak it a little, but that's okay. I'm just now starting to add the beads, and that pendant will have the pyramid man in it when I'm done.
