A little blog to highlight interesting, well-made, or just fun Neocities pages I find when I browse occasionally.

Megaknecht.com
Another page with character oozing out of it. The aesthetics of this site are off the wall, and the art that's strewn about each page is absolutely gorgeous.
"This website exists originally so i could share my characters and world building projects with the web. now its still that plus anything else i feel like doing. so consider this an ivitation to read my rambles or feast your eyes upon semi polished drawings. theres also some games."
This user appears to not be on tumblr, so I'll likely leave them a guestbook message when I can :)
But let's explore the place! Here's some screenshot highlights of my findings:
I honestly don't have much to say, I'm just mesmerised by their art.
Really, for this one I just highly recommend exploring it on your own. This artist is incredible and puts immense amounts of love in their work. You can really tell that they love fromsoftware games d:

Startron's Website
"Startron is a procedurally generated space sandbox game written in C# using mainly codepage 437 for graphics. The concept of Startron was inspired by Dwarf Fortress, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Factorio, No Man's Sky, Rimworld & Starport: Galactic Empires."
Now THIS was an interesting find- A whole neocities page for an upcoming game!
I was initially drawn to it by the preview of the gallery, curious as to what sort of project was hidden here- And look at that! The gallery is full of gifs showcasing a game with one of the most unique graphics I've seen in quite some time.
Further exploring what this game is about...
"You can build things on planets, moons, gas giants and rocks but your mileage may vary - have a look at the guide in the space station database if you get stuck"
It appears to be a space station simulator with mining elements? Very much what I'd call a fortress-like. I'm not the biggest on space games, but I thought this was an interesting find, and I think that there certainly must be quite some people who will enjoy this!
It looks quite complicated, but I have the feeling that understanding this is about the equivalent of understanding what's happening in DF classic

Ohrade's Neocities
Today I spotted an artist's site that I thought was just neat! And, I noticed this user is on tumblr too- @ohrade Hi there!
This user makes use of Neocities in a pretty underutilised way, as most artists online prefer to use carrd for their portfolios. Despite that, I always feel that even the most scuffed Neocities page can work as a better portfolio than whatever Carrd can spit out- Though Ohrade's Portfolio site is certainly anything but scuffed!
Entering the Portfolio site, you get met with this wonderful About Page
Immediately you get an excellent grasp of this artist's creative flavour. The paper background is charming, the artwork used for the about section is wonderful, and scrolling down you get met with not just a FAQ but also some testimonials.
Additionally, his art that is on display is very wonderful :) Excellent use of Neocities for the purpose of a readable and charming portfolio that tells you plenty about the artist.
Looking to the personal site-
Oh yeah, I love this.
It comes with a music playlist, which I turned on to enhance my site experience, and when he wrote that the code was messy by god was he not lying. I wasn't able to adjust my window sizing to make it work right in some areas, but hey- I love that. I'm weird like that. I love it when I see scuffed pages of someone just having fun figuring things out. Good luck on your coding journey!
I genuinenly just need to share a few screenshots of the other pages here, The amount of personality that's seeping through the layout and everything brings me immense joy.
For anyone looking for some art- Check him out!
The little fake banner ads on the page combined with the music in the background, it was an absolute pleasure to encounter this site today.

BadGraphicsGhost's Website
A very human website- someone's personal space to exist on the internet with. There is plenty of resources and interesting links to follow from here, but I wanted to highlight the thing that made me find their website!
A walking journal! I thought this was a very creative way to use neocities- but especially because of the format used in each journal entry
Each entry is marked with the weather conditions, and whatever playlist the she was listening to. The journal entries themselves all have each paragraph separated with an accompanying song from the playlist. It's a very human blog, with nothing too standout, but I think I'm just in love with people using the internet to be human and thats why this stood out to me.

Scranzone
From Scranzone's About page:
the primary purpose of this site is to archive and reformat recipes so that they are easier to read (for me). some of the recipes are archived 'as-is', just with reformatting to put the ingredients in line with the instructions; sometimes they include changes i've made, so i don't forget them.
I thought this kind of website was really cool, not only because its an excellent example of using neocities for your own private purposes (in this case, storing and organising recipes), but also because by posting it online you never know who else might find the recipes you use and realise that they'd like to try them themselves- And that they were made much more accessible to read!

Mountain Weather
Mountain Weather is a neocities website that functions as a weather report! It features a lot of various statistics about the area, has a weather map, and even appears to have a cabin-view snapshot camera view that you can peek at to really check what the weather is like.

What's This blog for? - Pinned
Heya! Neocuriocities is a blog I decided to make to try and showcase the many websites that people make on Neocities. This blog is ran by @elk-crown.
I think that it's important to show to people that they can just go ahead and make a website, even when they might be very new to coding, by showcasing not only impressive websites but also the little ones made by amateurs that are just there to show the thing that the creator is passionate about.
It makes me deeply sad to hear people always claim that the internet is ruined, and I believe that the struggle to find cool websites made with passion and love contributes to that feeling. So, here's my little effort to show off neat things on the internet, alongside giving the people putting in hard work some important spotlights!
