Okay my inquisition hot take is that showing up at the empress's ball in matching military outfits is actually such a power move like oh you all are here to play your stupid little games but we are here to get shit done and you will accept our presence even if we don't conform to your culture because you know that you need us it's just that. Well the outfits they picked were hideous. Slap a different color on that bad boy and you're good to go. Also the inquisitor should have worn a headpiece reminiscent of andraste's to really drive home the 'we're above your petty affairs' vibe
#i am perfectly fine with them showing up in uniforms but why the fuck do they look like some shit tsar nicholas ii would wear in a portrait#this is an ostensibly medieval-esque fantasy game#get CREATIVE#dragon age

Pros of hyperfixiation:
Happy!
Art ideas
Life is good
Cons of hyperfixiation:
I am going to blow up
All my art is of the same guy
If I don't think about this 24/7 I get violent

I admit I always find it funny when people whose entire business is media give on-the-record quotes that sound this much like the villain of a movie about hosting a charity talent show to save the beloved local library.

Ah, yes, the queerplatonic tension between one short and fat henchman and their slightly dumber tall and lanky co-henchman

Pet peeve is when reporting on medical research understands long covid so little it makes it sound like it's all one singular condition with one symptom set and one mechanism of action instead of multiple overlapping sets of symptoms and mechanisms of action, some of which already have decades of research behind them since they can be caused by multiple viruses, and others of which are unique to covid and brand fucking new.
We know a lot about how myalgic encephalomyelitis works, and about 50% of ppl with long covid meet the diagnostic criteria for M.E. Further research has shown that this isn't just a superficial similarity—the mechanisms causing those symptoms are the same regardless of whether it was Epstein-Barr or covid that initiated the condition.
Some of the brain damage, clotting disorders, and lung damage are things we haven't seen before, and you can have each of those independent of whether you've also developed M.E. and/or POTS and/or any other post covid symptom set.
It's not all one thing! The "source of long covid" doesn't "stem from damage in the brain" dgdixgcycgc that's just about one symptom set and not all long covid involves that kind of damage!!
Even for patients who experience brain damage as a result of covid, that's not going to be "the source" of their damaged mitochondria no longer being able to make enough energy, or their reduced anaerobic threshold, or the scarring on their lungs.
If a publication makes it sound like long covid is just one thing, the writer is probably not super well informed and you should consider reading the original research they're reporting on instead or in addition to their article which may have other major inaccuracies.
#i was under the impression that we didnt know the mechanisms leading to me and thus didnt know if they were the same across possible causes#granted the thing i learned this from is a few months older than this post but that is just a few months

When you get to the station and the tram immediately appears this is a sign of favor from the genius loci of the city. You are advantaged today. You will not get caught if you perform minor crimes, etc. Behave accordingly
