I recently made some more "Grim Reaper" dice, I relly like the small specks of green metal foil inside. What do you think? These dice still need sanding and inking.

Realized the Ember Twin d10 I assumed was a finished thing just needing polishing never cured right and is completely soft all over. I am struggling not to abandon this project all over again I’m so tilted

I’m so happy with how this commission turned out! It was a fun challenge to figure out how to make the thin strips of rainbow in them :)

@yourlocalhearthian RE: your tags, I am doing the whole system!
For Brittle Hollow, I’m doing a black poly clay dot in a clear cast blank, covering the outside with this glitter mix, then will cast in the outer shell blue, then will carve through crevices to the clear from the outside and recast in clear. This was my first shot up to step 2/3, but the dot didn’t end up black enough so I had to redo it.
The twins, I’ll be inking the ash twin in a blue to white gradient like the inside of the core, and the ember a darker shade of the base color for the shallower canyons. I made a couple attempts at incorporating the solar panels or towers into the Ash Twin but couldn’t get it looking right, so I kept it simple.
The Interloper!
Haven’t started on Giant’s Deep but I’ll be doing a green swirly blank, then casting in lightly tinted blue and red for the outer shell, hopefully getting the half and half upper atmosphere look. I’ll probably file out a little bit on the surface to paint the launcher in and then refill it with clear to make it look like it’s properly orbiting above the planet.
I’ll be simply painting a blank for Timber Hearth, nothing too complicated but the basics, with an indent at the top for the crater.
The dice I chose for each were based purely off of complexity, the more complex the bigger the die. Also the shape of my crystalline d4 was perfect for the Interloper but also LMAO @ “both instruments of violence” 😂😂😂
Getting back to my project of making dice inspired by the Outer Wilds solar system! Dark Bramble progress. I’m planning to carve out bits over the ends of the “branches” to fill with glacier blue resin next.

What a GORGEOUS blue. And everything else. Wow. Nice work.

Awwww yis, finally got a full set of these to work out. Fresh out of the mold, still need trimming and sanding, but I’m hype the insides turned out more or less as intended. I’m not usually one for naming sets but these are absolutely phylactery dice.

Is there anything better than a nice d12?
Got my resin casting station set up in my new place, woo! Back at it. This flower set will be a wedding gift to a friend, but I’m thinking about doing some more to try to sell to help fund my grass lawn to native prairie conversion. I’ve never seriously considered selling but maybe For The Cause.
