we’ve had AN ACCIDENT
curry sauce all over the kitchen. On the floor, all over then oven top, on the fridge, on the baseboard under the oven, on the mat, on the walking stick.
Everywhere but in the pan really. I’ve sent my Husband to get McDonalds. This will be the first McD’s we’ve had for many months. I hope it will only be a break in the streak and not an end to it.

Do you want to know why muslin isn’t what it used to be?
Modern muslin is used to make first drafts when trying a new pattern. It is tough and thick. This fabric used to be called calico in England, muslin was the name for it in America. Historic muslin was prized as a dainty fabric for evening gowns. Dampened if you were racy! This type of muslin was very popular in Regency England. So, why did the original type of muslin disappear in the UK?
Muslin was named for Mosul, Iraq although it came from Bangladesh. This left it unfortunately vulnerable under the British East India Company. Britain didn’t like that India wasn’t buying fabric from them. Muslin was extremely fine and couldn’t be beaten! What could be done? Accept that someone makes a lovely product? Allow this to encourage you to work on upping your own quality and skills?
How about cutting peoples thumbs off?
Yep. The British East India Company had the muslin makers mutilated!! “This good thing doesn’t benefit us enough. Let’s just get rid of it and ruin the lives of anyone connected to its manufacture.”

I feel like this information needs to be shared.

We cured my phobia of spiders
If I see one suddenly I might get a startle but I think that is a normal reaction.
I’m not looking forward to my next spider sighting but I don’t dread it anymore.

*looking it up* Oooh, look at those lights. Being able to see what you are doing at the kitchen counter!
I knew this place was poorly built but there may be potential.
*sees floating upper cabinets being installed that I know will absolutely collect dust on the top for 20 years* I know I swore I'd never kill again

What am I supposed to do with that gap?!
Is it for decorative items to gather dust or, ‘useful’ items which I cannot reach?

EDS?
Yes, I brush my teeth (not firmly enough, apparently). Yes I floss – constantly, throughout the day. Yes I drink a lot of water. No, I don’t drink sugary drinks or eat a lot of sugar or carbs in general.
My teeth hurt and they’re full of cavities that are starting to get really bad, and I know that when I go to the dentist tomorrow I’m going to get all the same questions as he searches for a way to make this entirely my fault. The cavities are all between my teeth, despite my endless flossing. Thanks to hormones I have a super dry mouth most of the night (and a two week trial of oxybutynin didn’t help at all), and because of acid reflux the last thing I eat at night is usually antacids (yes there is sugar in them). Plus I’m a tooth grinder. I don’t know what else I could possibly do to try and fight this but it’s just not working. My teeth are weak and I don’t know what to do, but the dentist always finds a way to blame it entirely on me.
Not looking forward to tomorrow.
(before someone says it, because my dentist has, no a mouth guard doesn’t help, and yes I’ve tried treating the reflux but I can’t tolerate PPIs)
