Gen 1: Anette and Viktor (part 4)
Long story (no pictures oops) of Anette and Viktor below the cut
Vikram, having been a hermit for most of his young adult life (and early ages of adulthood), wasn’t too keen on going to work, but wanted more than anything to be able to pay his share of things. Anette mentioned having an old easel, saying she had attempted to try and paint but found that she didn’t like the activity. Vikram took up painting and quickly found that he enjoyed painting. Anette continued making her crafts, and Vikram began to paint. In the following weeks, the seasons changed from a hot summer air to a cool breezy fall and eventually, to the snow-fallen days of winter. Vikram’s paintings were being sold for more and more simoleans and his name was becoming more and more recognizable. People began approaching the two when they would go to the art museum, and paparazzi were flashing pictures. Anette had felt…jealous of the attention he was getting from his adoring fans. Anette was jealous. Vikram and Anette became close during those first few weeks of living together throughout the different seasons. They did live in a micro-home together, after all. Vikram had long since shaved his long beard and cut his scraggly hair to reveal a sweet face filled with freckles. One day on Anette’s birthday, the two were out to a park so Anette could rummage through garbage and Vikram could get inspiration for painting, a fan of Vikram’s attempted to flirt with him…and Anette was jealous and actually realized it. Vikram, still being the socially awkward man he was, only saw the woman’s flirting as being friendly, but when she persisted, Anette came over, grungy as ever, and joined their conversation. Vikram was happy to see Anette, gladly talking to her while the woman looked at Anette with disgust. Vikram didn’t mind the grungy smell of Anette. He actually preferred her to be in her element, which was when she could get her hands dirty, whether from trash or from her garden that had turned into their garden. Seeing the disgust on the woman’s face, Vikram decided that he wanted to leave, and the two went back home to their warm home, deciding to make it larger after Anette’s birthday. Both Anette and Vikram were smitten with each other, but also both too stupid to see it. Anette pretended to ignore the growing attraction, ignoring both Bella and Tina’s teasing comments of Anette having a type (red hair). Meanwhile, Vikram had become friends with fellow artist Holly Alto when Vikram was invited to an art gallery opening. The two hit it off pretty quickly, and soon the two started dating. Anette decided to try her luck at dating once more, using the dating app that got her married so long ago. There, she has a blind date with Cameron Fletcher. Anette unknowingly ended up going to the same restaurant as Vikram and Holly. Anette and Cameron did not hit it off. The two came from very different worlds. Cameron was studying to be computer science in college, while Anette hadn’t gone to college and loved spending her time outside. Cameron ended up noticing both Vikram and Holly, and decided that he wanted to meet them both instead of sit and finish his date with Anette. Anette attempted to hide from the two, since she had met Holly before (kind of hard not to when you live with someone in a small home and share that home), but failed. Anette felt awful about the whole thing and decided to leave and go to the bar and drink her problems away. Vikram noticed right away something was wrong with Anette, wanting to go after her. Holly wasn’t too happy, since they were on a date themselves…but Vikram cared (and was in love with Anette), so went after Anette instead of staying with Holly for the date. Anette was already feeling pretty tipsy by the time Vikram found her star gazing outside the bar. Vikram scolded her, but that only made Anette mad, which ended up with her confessing that she felt like she was in love with Vikram in her drunken state. Vikram was obviously taken back by this, opting to take Anette home and talk about it in the morning when Anette wasn’t drunk. So, that’s what they did. Click here if for the challenge rules!

Gen 1: Viktor Forsythe (part 3)
With her goals in life seemingly met, Anette focused her life on the outdoors, since she loved it so much. With her money being easier to come by, Anette decided to take some time off and go to Granite Falls. There, Anette learned how to fish and began learning herbalism. She was, after all, back to living in a tent, except this tent was much nicer than the one she started with. Eventually, Anette came upon a bramble patch, and once traversing through it, Anette found herself in the deep woods, staring at a red-haired man in ragged clothes and no shoes. Maybe Anette should have been scared of a random man in the deep forest, in a place where no one even knew Anette had wandered off to, but when she saw the man awkwardly stare at her in a sort of bewilderment behind his shaggy hair and untrimmed beard, Anette felt safe. Anette, being the ever-curious individual, noticed a waterfall just past the man and asked him about it. The man seemed even more befuddled at Anette’s attempt at communication. Anette couldn’t blame him. It was summer, and she was in shorts and a tank top with tattoos covering her body. Who knows when the last time anyone had even stumbled upon the clearing, let alone someone with tattoos. Had the man ever seen someone like Anette? Anette continued her attempt at communicating with the hermit, telling him she brought her fishing pole and some bait and asked about the types of fish in the waterfall. The man, seemingly coming out of his trance, was more than willing to show Anette the waterfall and began telling her all about the types of fish he had caught in the waterfall. Soon enough, the two were fishing together, as if Anette hadn’t just stumbled upon the clearing of this hermit…and the hermit’s “friends”. Turns out, years in the wild can make anyone erratic, but the hermit’s friends seemed to be a joyous bunch, so Anette didn’t mind the conversations that he had with him and his “friends” as they fished. They did have some good jokes. Anette spent the next few days camping out in the deep woods. Within those days, Anette grew closer to the hermit, even finding out his name; Vikram Forsythe. When Anette ran out of bait, she mentioned that she would have to leave soon. Vikram wasn’t too thrilled, and instead, showed Anette his small home, nestled in the corner of the clearing, saying he had more bait, and noticed she had some plants on her. Anette explained to him that they were plants she couldn’t identify since she was still learning herbalism. Vikram was able to identify the plants she had immediately, only biting the leaf of one. Vikram offered to help teach her herbalism, which she accepted. Soon, Vikram even shared a secret herbalism recipe with her that was supposedly the best fertilizer for plants, which Anette was ecstatic to learn! Her garden was back home (and being watched by a gardener she hired) and would need a good fertilizing. Soon, the allotted time she was allowed to be in Granite Falls was coming to an end. She only had a permit for a certain amount of days, and even though she was in the deep deep woods of Granite Falls National Park, she knew she would have to leave soon. Upon telling Vikram this, he seemed sad. Anette, being the perfectly normal and not at all unreasonable person that she was, invited Vikram to come back to civilization with her, and live in her home. Anette told Vikram about her micro-home, saying that she had even begun to live off the grid and only cook meals that she had ingredients for, which were easy to come by, thanks to her garden. Vikram, surprisingly, agreed.

Gen 1: Anette Flowers (part 2)
Anette moved to Willow Creek, to an empty lot across from what seemed to be a haunted mansion. Upon moving in and beginning to re-establish her life and build herself a new suburban home, the neighbors came by. Turns out that the creepy mansion just across from her house was apparently a well-to-do family of Goths; and not just the subculture. A beautiful woman in a red dress was the first to welcome Anette to the neighborhood, and her name was Bella Goth. Bella and her husband, Mortimer, were well respected in the community, and had two children, Cassandra and Alexander, who all seemed very pleasant, despite the Goth name. Due to both Anette and Bella’s good nature, the two became best friends.
After her short marriage and divorce, Anette focused her life on her craft, mastering both fabrication and handiness. To help her mind, Anette also began focusing on more soothing activities and took up yoga and gardening in her free time. Soon, Anette had mastered wellness and gardening and was able to make beautiful commissioned pieces, selling up to §2,000 a piece for her fine artwork. With the money she earned from both her commissioned pieces, as well as the strange things people threw away, Anette was able to build herself a nice, suburban home with a garden of the many plants she had found in the dumpster now thriving under her care. While dumpster diving, Anette met a woman who was also dumpster diving. Her name was Tina Tinker. Together, the two were able to form a fast friendship, despite Tina’s gloomy trait. Soon, Tina was over at Anette’s, crafting on Anette’s candle crafting station, as well as using her fabricator. Anette didn’t mind the company. It helped Anette thrive through her divorce. Tina and Bella became Anette’s best friends. Tina was even able to introduce a tattoo artist. Anette took the opportunity and adorned herself with tattoos. She had the money, and she had always wanted at least 3 tattoos. So, she got 6. A butterfly tattoo across her chest for her newfound freedom, a blue electrical on her right arm for her love of fabrication, a different, more sharp-lined electric type tattoo on her upper back indicating that creating helps keep her going, and three tribal tattoos, two on her legs, with one going up her hip on left side and another on her left arrm, indicating her tribe of 3, Bella, Tina and her, with Bella and Tina being the two helping move her along (the ones on her legs) and her left hand, to indicate she was working on moving along too.

Gen 1: Anette Flowers (part 1)
Anette was reborn as a Flower, and with her new, reborn status, she moved to the little island in Windenburg with only a tent to her name. After scavenging in dumpsters for everything from recyclable materials to literal meals, Anette was able to afford a micro-home. After getting her footing in the world, Anette attempted the dating pool, winding up meeting an unlikely match; Nina Caliente. (my laptop shit out so I won’t have more like actual pictures but have a few of Anette!)
It was the most unlikely match, seeing as Nina was lazy and hot-headed while Anette was a good, freegan, outdoors lover, the two bonded quickly, due to Nina's love for romance. Not long after, Anette got a call from a mysterious relative, telling her she had an inheritance, but there was a catch, get married in 7 days. So, already being in a relationship with Nina, the two tied the knot quickly, eloping in the front yard. The only stipulation Nina had was that she wasn't willing to give up her iconic last name. So, Anette took to her last name and became Anette Caliente, and everything was going well...until Don Lothario showed up.
Even with a ring and an extra §5,000 to their name, it was easy for Nina to have some fun with Don while Anette savaged to get by, using her skills to craft furniture, make candles, and do commissioned pieces for customers. One day, when Anette was coming home early from her day of dumpster diving, she caught Nina and Don in Anette and Nina's custom-made double bed. Anette, obviously distraught, demanded a divorce from Nina, once more having to pick up her life and move, and once more becoming a Flower. Click here if for the challenge rules!
