- he's not strict, but he does have rules when it comes to your well-being. he'll make you three meals a day. you don't have to eat it all, but at least a few bites before he'll let you leave the kitchen.

- you do have a bedtime, and he'll make sure Teddy is ready to cuddle up. he knows that sleeping can be hard for some littles, so he sits by your bed with his hand rubbing circles over your back.

- Abel loves to care for his little. he'll make the best southern comfort food you've ever had, he'll wrap you up in his clothes, and he'll even carry you around the house. he's tall, and he's definitely strong enough to hold you.

- his names for you include: sugar, dumplin, sweetheart, baby(boy/girl), honey, cutie, and darlin. he prefers to be called either Dada or Papa, but he doesn't mind Daddy either.

- you may have to explain to him what age regression is at first, but he understands almost immediately and is SO excited he gets to take care of you. he loves that you trust him with something so personal.

- he'll bring you to meet Dasha while you're regressed, sit you on Koa's lap, ask Kopi to make you hot chocolate. he loves to show you off to his friends because he's so proud that he gets to watch over their human.

- lets you sit on his back while you watch Telly. they'll make sure to put on your favorite cartoons, maybe a nature documentary if Abel's trying to get you ready for a nap.

- Abel lets you have playdates with other littles while he talks to their caregivers. you and Mateo cuddle while Abel and Betty discuss the best ways to get their babies to nap. you play a board game with Parker while Chance begs Abel for advice about calming his little down.

- he loves to be affectionate. he'll cuddle, holding you against his soft body with strong, muscled arms. he'll kiss your forehead, his beard scratching against your soft skin. he'll even let you sit on his lap, allowing you to rest against his comfortable stomach.

- if you're having trouble falling asleep, he hums lullabies to you. you can feel the vibration in his chest, the way his deep voice immediately makes you feel sleepier and sleepier. it's impossible to fight the hazy, comforting feeling. once you finally let yourself sleep, Abel just smiles and plants a final kiss to your temple.

Been plagued with thoughts of all three Mikes trying everything to calm a colicky tenna down EXCEPT the one thing that will work. I imagine this is early in their CG roles and they're still laying groundwork.

Pluey puts a paci in his mouth, it promptly gets spit across the room.

Jongler bounces him on his knee, his screen whines and he fusses in his lap.

They try putting him down for a nap, putting comfier clothes/a diaper on him and singing him to sleep...Tenna is not having it.

Until Battat puts an arm around Tenna and gently pats his back. "I just wish he could tell us what's wrong."

Suddenly he tenses up in Battats arms and lets out the loudest "urp!" you've ever heard from such a tiny little thing. And then he sighs happily, nuzzles into the crook of battats neck, and promptly falls into a well needed nap.

The mikes just. Look around at the toys and supplies covering the floor and are like. "This wasn't in the contract"

THIS IS SO GOOD- you could write a whole fic on this honestly but it was fun to think about while I doodled. I LOVE me some Mike shenanigans

I also think the people closest to him help when he gets really small like a whole group of CGs… I mean he is a very big baby isn’t he?

Regressor! Surge and Kit

(!¡!Pull-up/Diaper/Accident mention!¡!)

(Also, some sort of uncomfy topics, if you know these two, you know where this is going,,)

(Finally, some goobers I haven’t posted about before /silly)

Surge is a very overprotective big sister when it comes to Kit. She would kill someone for her baby brother… no actually.

Kit regresses to around 2-3 and is almost always nonverbal. He whispers things to Surge for her to say for him, not liking to talk to anyone but her when little. It's a bit silly, but none of their caregivers seem to mind. Surge regresses a bit older, around 5-6 but that doesn't stop her from using things like pacis or playing with Kit.

Though most of their cybernetic enhancements make them stronger and more powerful, Kit is almost always padded. While Surge will deny it, she usually sticks to pull-ups, calling them "big boy pants. (Don't tell her she's wrong,,) When it comes to cleanup, Surge will hide in the bathroom by herself to change herself. Having a caregiver help, isn't an option. If Kit feels safe enough to let a caregiver change him, Surge will sit next to him, glaring up at said caregiver the entire time, waiting for a slip-up. That's her baby brother.

Surge would have alot more "boy toys" while Kit has more "girl toys." Surge would be doing a demolition derby with her monster trucks and action figures while Kit is setting up a very intricate tea party with his LPS and Squinkies. Of course, Surge absolutely loves playing with little Kit when he wants to play with someone, but there is alot of parallel play-time with these two. I think one of the most reoccurring games these two play together are "kitchen." They have a whole corner of their playroom dedicated to their toy ktichen, also having a small table and little chairs or cushions to sit at. So much plastic food, velcro fruits, the food that changes color when you dip it in water. Their little kitchen is decked out. Alot of their toys are hand-me-downs to some degree, but it honestly makes them treasure their toys even more.

Kit carries around a baby blankie almost everywhere when regressed. It's a pastel yellow, very visibly loved blankie, getting dragged on the floor any time little Kit goes everywhere. If they have to put his blankie in the wash, he will sit in front of the washing machine and cry, absolutely needing it. Surge never really knows how to help, trying to offer toys and games, even their weighted stuffies and blankets they share, but nothing ever really seems to properly soothe him.

I think if they could find a chao garden, these two would never wanna leave. Kit and Surge sitting under trees together on a blanket, hiding away from everyone else, playing and babbling back and forth. Surge would probably be too scared to try and play with chao, worried she'd accidentally hurt them. But Kit would THRIVE with chao, petting them and giving them little forehead kisses. Just really want them to have a playdate a chao garden hehe.

If Tails were to find out about Kit regressing, I feel like he'd try to be a big brother towards him. Surge would watch him like a hawk, and it would take so much for her to trust him with her Kit. But Tails seems to understand little Kit really well, Tails a regressor himself. It makes him really happy to watch Kit, thinking this is probably how Sonic feels when he watches him! He also just loves little Kit in general, and is probably one of the only people Surge and Kit would willingly regress infront of. (I also think Tails would regress with them sometimes.)

(SurgeAmy propaganda) Amy is the one and only person that Surge ever relies on as a caregiver. Kit has a few he likes to be taken care of, sometimes feeling too small to feel the fear he normally would of being so vulnerable. Surge? Trusts none of them, especially none to watch her. Amy? Amy has held her through the messiest of meltdowns, coaxed her into bitty baby headspace (making her feel safe enough to), and overall, just happily accepts the role of Mama. She's the one who got Surge to try pull-ups, knows how to help either of them when they panic, has sat through so many thunderstorms with both of them, and knows exactly how to soothe a scared, fussy little Surge the moment she returns from laying Kit down for a nap. Amy would KILL someone for her babies.

Surge honestly hates that she regresses, vulnerability not something she's ever super willing to feel. She hates the concept, but it's also one of the very few things she can cling to, to cope. Both of them use regression partially to cope with the fact they don't have a childhood they can remember, and it helps with their imposter syndrome, giving them another existence to live in that's not just them being a clone.

Super specific, probably odd headcanon, but the first time the two of them felt nostalgia was such an important moment for them. After a few years of regressing and such, obviously they go through a few different children's shows and toys. So when Amy one day turns on a show the two of them used to watch when they first started regressing, and they got such a fuzzy feeling, immediately trying to pinpoint what it was. They deserve the world,,

Baby’s regression started as a subconscious trauma response—something he did alone and in secret. He didn’t understand what it was, just that he felt safer when sucking on a paci or lining up his toy blocks in perfect rows.

He used to hide under the covers to self-soothe, hugging old plushies and stuffing his ears to block out yelling or noise. Even now, those are his go-to comforts when panicked.

He didn’t mean to let Jinu see him that day—it just happened. Jinu froze for a second, but didn’t mock or pry. Instead, he sat with Baby on the floor and started stacking blocks beside him like it was the most normal thing in the world. That’s when Baby broke, and realized… maybe this part of him wasn’t something to be ashamed of.

🤍He has major separation anxiety.🤍

Baby’s separation anxiety is intense, especially regarding Jinu. He has nightmares of the group falling apart or being replaced. It hits hardest when he's tiny.

He’s constantly seeking reassurance that Jinu isn’t mad, won’t leave, and still wants him around. Even little things—Jinu answering a text late, or hugging someone else first—can make Baby’s regression spiral into clingy silence or petty tantrums.

When Rumi regresses, Baby becomes visibly agitated. It’s not that he hates Rumi, but he cannot handle feeling replaced. He’ll suddenly act much younger, tug on Jinu’s sleeve, or pretend to be asleep in his lap so no one else can claim it.

Absolutely hates when he's alone and regressed, at first the team didn't mind and found it cute how Baby was all obsessed with being held till one day after breakfast Romance set him the living room to play while the boys cleaned up the table and Baby had a huge fit after Romance said, "settle down you can see us from there."

Since then Jinu got very serious about the boys anxiety. He coddles Baby a lot and won't punish him so it got to the point Baby was pretty much walking over them. Bobby and Mira had to step in at that point and help out.

🤍In Public🤍

Once the boys learned about his regression he started wearing his pacifier around everywhere even in public. His excuse was it followed the 'Baby Persona'

The public absolutely loved it!

Any outing = snack run. It’s an unspoken rule.

Baby points at what he wants from convenience store shelves while clinging to Romance’s sleeve.(Romance is the only one who cooks out of the team)

He gets a tiny pout if the snacks aren’t the brand he wanted, and Abby or Jinu usually cave and buy a second option just to keep the peace.

If overstimulated (like loud crowds, sudden flashes from cameras), Baby starts to quietly cry or shake. Jinu or Abby will instantly guide him somewhere quieter—usually a bathroom or a hallway.

Jinu keeps gum, chewy candies, and some stim toys in his bag just in case.

At Fan Meets Baby has sometimes regressed, he's usually able to pull it off and make it through the rest of the way till the end. The few times they've done combined fan meets with Huntrix, Zoey will slip as well thinking it's a play date(the two have TONS of playdates)

One time when both Baby and Zoey regressed mid-event, Bobby gently escorted them backstage while the rest of the group continued.

It was Baby’s first time around Bobby while regressed, and he immediately started crying for Jinu, feeling unsure and overwhelmed.

Bobby stayed calm, kneeling to Baby’s level and softly turning on the live event feed so Baby could watch his hyungs.

That helped soothe him until Zoey distracted him with a silly game involving some of the plushies they'd gotten from fans.

Baby was hesitant at first but slowly got invested in the game—forgetting his distress entirely.

After that, Baby started seeing Bobby as a safe, “cool hyung” when little, though he still prefers Jinu when he’s really small.

Now Bobby keeps fruit snacks and a soft dinosaur plush in his bag just in case another public slip up happens.

so i think before we get into any headcanons for regressor!baby saja i will say that my headcanon for what happens to them at the end of the movie is that they go back to the underworld with gwi-ma who decides to try the whole boy band thing again since it kind of worked. and they become team rocket-esque villains who are slowly starting to realize that they just wanna be a boy band and not worry abt souls (and then jinu comes back to them bc this is the only way that rumi gives him attention) okie headcanons time with all of this in mind!!!

Regressor Baby Saja Headcanons!

so at first, the whole baby persona is just that, a persona. baby doesn't really care one way or the other, he's fine, he's the one that volunteered to do this after all. not that that means anything. he just volunteered because no one else did and he has a baby face. clearly that's the only reason

the boys end up with an actual manager that takes care of all the aspects of being a boy band that they don't actually want to do. which is most things. and this manager has to do some damage control after "your idol" and the whole thing with gwi-ma jasfaslkjd so he sets the boys up for a meet-and-greet

at this meet-and-greet there's a girl there that gives baby a lion plushie. it's floppy, it's fluffy, and it has big ol toe beans with shimmery pink fabric. it has a big mane that is fluffy and furry, and baby actually likes the way it feels... and he maybe hides it away after the event. he throws away the flowers, the drawings, and the friendship bracelets, but he keeps this lion, and he keeps it hidden

the saja boys are basically topside all the time at this point, gwi-ma doesn't want to see them unless they have souls for him, so they have an apartment. baby keeps his lion plushie hidden under his pillow, and he snuggles with it at night because it just feels nice

they also all get phones so that they can better connect with the fans, and so they can be lil trolls toward huntrix and cause flame wars, but when baby saja starts looking at the tags about him...he starts seeing all these pacifier edits. fans taking pictures of him and putting these little pacifiers in his mouth, basically, and he has no idea what these things are actually for, but they look kind of nice...so he asks jinu about it since jinu is their resident human-expert besides their manager, and this doesn't seem like the kind of thing baby is supposed to ask the manager about

jinu tells him that it's a baby pacifier, it's kind of like a bottle without any drink, just the part that you drink out of

baby is intrigued. very intrigued. he likes bottles more than he'll admit (and he has a couple of them squirreled away in his room that the others don't know about) but the idea of not always needing to have a drink to use one is...nice. so he finds adult-sized ones and gets a pastel teal-blue one with bear ears on the shield, and he tells the others that he got it for the baby persona (he's lyinggggggg)

now he can't sleep at night without it, he gets a clip so he can keep it attached to him, and he wears it out in public almost constantly (which works well for him since he told the others that's what it was for anyway)

he accidentally causes a trend. now all their fans, especially the ones that have baby as their bias, are using pacifiers, decorating them, just wearing them on clips. very quickly the manager makes this trend work for them, and the saja boys release pacis as merch. they have two designs, one that matches their light sticks with the black and red, and one that's pastel. both have their logo in the middle

baby also starts getting himself some more toys like his lion, because for some reason he starts to feel sad that his lion is all alone when he's not in his room. so he gets more stuffed animals, he gets dolls, action figures...eventually it stops being about friends for his lion and it starts being about how he just wants toys. he gets some blocks for himself, and he can't claim that he got these for his lion when he's sitting on the floor of his room making castles and towers out of his blocks

he doesn't know why he likes all of this stuff, and he doesn't know why all the others can turn off their personas so easily while he feels so much like being baby is an actual part of him. it feels like something he should be ashamed of, so he keeps it very well hidden from the others

i feel like abby accidentally finds out about baby regressing, also doesn't know what it is or why baby is upset that he found his plushie collection. so abby just himbos his way into taking care of baby whether he wants him to or not jasdlkfjasflk (baby does want him to take care of him and that is the worst part)

jinu also knows, but he's known since baby asked him what a pacifier is and then immediately, next day, baby had a paci on him at all times. romance and mystery, however, are completely out of the loop and just vibing in the corner

their manager is fine with all the baby stuff, he just desperately wishes that baby would stop drinking energy drinks out of baby bottles. this does not deter baby, and he still drinks energy drinks out of his bottles exclusively

Things to Do with Plushies that aren’t Traditional Pretend Play

If you regress/dream to an older age range, you might not play pretend as often, if at all. That said, there’s no reason why you still can’t enjoy your plushies’ company.

Cuddle them as you go to sleep. This one is pretty obvious, but I think it deserves a place on this list.

Make them little Kandi collars with their name in letter beads. You can make a matching bracelet or necklace for yourself too!

On that note, sew clothes for them and dress them up. This one might require some supervision because of the pins and needles, but it’s usually worth it.

Set them up so that they look like they’re doing the same activity as you are. (Putting a controller in front of them if you’re gaming, pretending to feed them bits of your meal, setting them up in front of the TV so they can enjoy the programs with you, etc) This one veers into pretend play, but it’s not as involved so I figured I’d include it.

Put them into your purse/backpack/bag so they can keep you company on your errands or other trips you take.

Set them up in nature or around the house and take photos of them. You can even scrapbook with the photos.

If they are sturdy enough, give them a bubble bath and then either stick them in a pillowcase and put it in the dryer, or air dry them in the sun. This is good for bonding with them, and general maintenance to keep them clean.

Write about them. You can make little character profiles for them, or even full stories! This is good if you have a hard time playing pretend but you still want to feature them in imaginative contexts.

Draw/paint pictures of them and hang them on your wall!

Finally, if this is something you’re up for, set up a side blog for your favorite plushie and document their life online. Make blog posts from their perspective, have them take “selfies” etc!

begone, naysayers and nonbelievers—leave me to project my regression onto my beloved blorbos in peace. there is no age requirement on regression and i am free to imagine my favorite characters regressing however i wish. i am not ‘cringe’ or causing any harm by headcanoning them to share the same coping mechanism as me, even if it may seem unconventional or strange to those uninformed on the subject. it helps me to heal with my own trauma and overcome any insecurities i have about my regression.
