I had another nightmare last night, but this time I could hear someone calling my name. I didn’t recognize the voice, so it must’ve been my mind trying to mess with me.

I started my first day of work today! I’m working at a doggy daycare. I’ve only met a handful of all the dog’s we are going to be getting, and I already love them. I work late though, from 2 in the afternoon to 10 at night.

April 15, 2018

I missed the bus home from work today, so I had to walk 2 hours to my house. The whole time it felt as if someone was watching me, but every time I’d turn around, no one was there.

The nightmares have gotten worse as well; the screaming is louder.

April 20, 2018

My mom believes that my nightmares are my mind’s way of trying to work out my father’s passing, but I don’t think that’s what it is.

I’m now able to see a figure of the person who’s screaming.

I’m sitting at my desk about to write the next entry for the twenty-third when I get that feeling again. This time it’s more intense than all the other times I’ve experienced it, I’m scared to turn around.

I eventually work up the courage to turn around, telling myself that it’s nothing, just my imagination. Slowly, I turn around in my chair, but instead of seeing empty space behind me I see him.

Seo Changbin, the person I created in my head when I was little. Before I can say anything he walks over and hands me an envelope and disappears. I carefully open the envelope and take out the note.

7:45pm: I had just gotten home from work when my best friend Renjun had decided to call me. I picked up his call since I didn't have to start studying for another fifteen minutes.

“What's up Jun?” I said as soon as I picked up his call.

“Can you give me some advice?” he asked me with a hint of uncertainty in his voice.

“Of course.”

8:25pm: Shit, shit, shit, I kept thinking to myself. I was supposed to start studying 25 minutes ago, now my whole routine is messed up. I guess I can just leave out a subject or two, I should be fine.

9:00pm: I just finished studying, even though I had to do some things differently. Note to self: don’t get distracted before studying. I put away all my study materials and got ready to take a shower.

9:23pm: I had just finished getting dressed after my shower when I heard a thud coming from my room. Usually I wouldn't have thought much of the noise because I do own a cat. The thing that alarmed me was after the thud I heard a muffled voice, but I couldn't make out what it had said. I cautiously exit the bathroom and start to glance around my room looking for the owner of the voice. That's weird, maybe it was all in my head, I thought. I shook it off and started walking towards my bed when I heard a voice behind me.

“Hello master, you have summoned me to this world. I am here to serve you, just tell me what to do and it will be done.”

~Jaemin’s pov~

“Hey my friend’s house is near here, so I’m going to go visit him. Okay?”

“Okay, have fun with your boyfriend Xuxi,” I said while shooing him away to Jungwoo’s house. Xuxi and I have been walking around Seoul for about thirty minutes now while I try to stop overthinking. Jeno hasn’t been answering his phone for the last two hours and I’m extremely worried.

I decided to head to a nearby park that I’ve only been to once or twice with my friends. As I was entering the park I noticed a figure sitting on one of the swings, but I didn’t want to get closer because it was dark and I was alone. I decided to sit on a bench close to the play equipment.

I pulled out my phone to see if Jeno had read any of my messages and as expected, he hadn’t. I decided to call him again.

“Hi, I can’t come to the phone right now, but please leave a message after the tone,” I heard Jeno’s voice say for what seemed like to thousandth time that day.

“Hey Jeno, I’m sorry for leaving so many voicemails, but everyone’s worried about you. I’m worried about you. Please call me as soon as you can so I know you're okay.”

~Jeno’s pov~

I had managed to find a park and decided to sit on one of the swings. I had left the house about two or so hours ago and had just realized that I left my phone. I was trying to figure out what I should do when I saw someone sit on a bench near the play equipment. A small part of me hoped that it was someone I knew, but how would they know I was here?

I got off the swing and started to leave the park when I heard, “hey Jeno, I’m sorry for leaving so many voicemails, but everyone’s worried about you. I’m worried about you. Please call me as soon as you can so I know you're okay.” I turned around and ran. I didn’t care if other people saw, I just needed him. I needed to be in his arms again.

A/N: I decided to actually write a bit, so I'm sorry if it sucks. Also tell me how you guys would like this fanfic to end, since it's probably going to end soon.

Jeno contemplated packing his bag and leaving the house, but he knew he couldn't. His father would find him and drag him back. He set his phone down and tried to prepare himself for what was going to happen when he walked down those stairs.

He slowly made his way into the living room and stood across the room from his father. He didn't look up, he didn't move, he was too scared to do anything.

“Explain yourself,” his father stated roughly. Jeno didn't respond in fear of saying something wrong and making his father angrier. ‘I said ‘explain yourself,’” Mr. Lee repeated in an even harsher voice than last time.

Jeno glanced up, with tears in his eyes. “I'm dating a guy,” he said, barely audible. He lowered his head again, this time out of shame.

He looked up again when he heard heavy footsteps approaching him, only to be met with his father's face. His face was unreadable, and that's what scared Jeno the most.

“I'm ashamed to call you my son,” Mr. Lee said. Jeno looked up, shocked by what his father said. “Don't look at me, you piece of shit,” was what Jeno heard before he felt a sharp stinging pain on his right cheek.

Nothing mattered anymore, Jeno didn't care anymore. He ran past his father and out of the house. He wandered around the streets of Seoul.

It had been thirty minutes since Jeno had left his house. It was dark and cold out, and to make things better it started raining five minutes ago. He was also lost, he tried to look for something he recognized. He decided to give up on trying to find his way back to somewhere familiar.
