I’ll be back on tonight to post starters and finish replies. Sorry for my absence. I've been dealing with a lot of work related despair.

            The summer heat was beginning to get beyond bearable. Rise was on her last limbs, fanning herself with both an electrical fan and a hand fan. This was ridiculous. She could be enjoying herself out with her friends instead of settling on the misery of the summer blaze. Her hands searched her pockets for her cellphone, digits dialing one of her most trusted numbers. She figured she might as well gather him of all people. He’d make sure to invite everyone and make them feel welcome. The phone rang a few times before Rise got an answer from the person she wanted to hear from.

                     ❝ Hey, there, Senpai! It’s really hot out here. Do you mind getting us all together at the beach. I’ll bring snacks and sing! I’ll do anything! Just save me from this heat! ❞

      Yeah, most of this probably made her sound whiny. But who wouldn’t whine when the ice in their drinks melted faster than they should? Once he agreed to her demands of beach day, Rise collected herself and began preparing everything she’d need for everyone to have fun.

                ❝ Thank you, Yu-Senpai! You’re a lifesaver! I’ll bring everything we need, just get everyone in their swimsuits -- ready to go! ❞

            And with that, she was off her rocker, excited to have a beach day with everyone.

Elizabeth was hardly expecting a new visitor to the Velvet Room, especially not someone who was already connected to a previous guest. But a guest was a guest, so she would gladly treat her just the same as she did any other.

“A new guest? Certainly a rarity these days.” She walked over to the girl, giving her a respectful bow. “Welcome to the Velvet Room. This place exists between dream and reality. Mind and matter. My name is Elizabeth, and it is a pleasure to meet you.”

“You mentioned meeting someone with similar features to mine, yes? Am I to presume that means you have already met with one of the other attendants? One of my siblings?”

              Being greeted by Elizabeth in such an elegant matter only served to further impress the idol. The smile on her face grew as they proceeded to conversate. She was thrilled by her presence, that much was sure.

              ❝ Thank you for welcoming me! In all honesty, I didn’t expect myself to ever come here without Yu-Senpai. Have you known of other cases like that?❞

    She certainly was curious on the how of her getting here. This room was supposedly impossible to get into unless you had a certain gift. Rise was sure that she wasn’t one of them. Her Senpai was unique, in his own league. Her thoughts were interrupted when the woman inquired upon her siblings. Ah! So, that’s why they all look the same!

         ❝ Oh! You’re related to Margaret? That explains a lot! She also has the same elegance that you do. Although, she seems scarier than you by a mile.❞

        The young advisor nodded her king’s worries away. She did her best for her kingdom and would continue doing so. A couple of scratches from a battle were to be expected. Rise stood tall as she reported to her closest friend and king, 

                               ❝ I am not terribly hurt. It’s a few battle scratches, as to be expected. The rookies did their best and won the fight for you. It was casualty free from our side. Did you need to plan a counterstrike? ❞

        Without command, Rise pulled a sheet of paper from her pocket. She was ready to give Yosuke an edge in whatever was most needed. Her loyalty never failed.

           ❝ They seem to have a weakness on the southern end of their castle. We could easily send a few scouts to the north to attract their attention as our full unit attacks the south. Divide and conquer! Or were you hoping to end this peacefully, Your Majesty? ❞

   Normally, if a human being were to be dropped into the velvet room at random, they’d find themselves confused. Rise was one of the few that felt little surprise. Whether it was due to her adventures inside the TV or the previous glimpses of the room itself was unknown. Maybe, she was just the type to be barely phased by anything after everything she had faced. What did manage to catch her eye, however, was the sight of a semi-familiar woman. She was gorgeous and had a wicked flair of style. The blue garb that was customary to those that called the velvet room a home suited her to a ‘T’. She couldn’t help, but conversate due to the woman’s appearance. A compliment to that beauty had to be given !!

                           ❝ Hey, there ! I really couldn’t help , but notice you from afar . You are really pretty ! Then again... everyone from this particular place seemingly has the same features. But your dress is different from Yu-Senpai’s friend.. What’s your name ? ❞
