i love the attention to detail in hq. how it's always the first years carrying the equipment bags cause its a time honoured tradition in sports that the rookies get the menial tasks. how the squeak of shoes on the court is part of the percussion in the soundtrack. how throw away lines like "make sure you get the right balls" after a practice match make it feel so true to life. how it manages to capture the tenacity, goofyness, and social awkwardness of people who spend a large chunk of their day to day life doing team sport and therefore are awkward when socialising outside it but absolutely cheerful and charismatic within their groups. how it manages to capture so many different player experiences and gives due justice and diligence to each one.

its really sweet and you can tell its a labour of love for everyone involved
