and you still have time to be by loveroflou / @grimmpitch​ (M, 10K) Sometimes writers try too hard to be poetic, but sometimes their writing is just effortlessly beautiful. This is one of those kinds of fics. It's soft and intimate and full of so much perfectly-described moments of pain and tenderness. And to no one’s surprise, I cried. Link is to a download.

we can only look behind by @hereforlou (M, 66K) Absolutely gorgeous writing. Childhood friends to enemies (more of a falling out) to lovers fic that made me cry multiple times (Yes, I was a mess). This one had such realistic expression of emotions and such three-dimensional characterizations. Just loved it. Link is to a download

For Reasons Wretched and Divine by @indiaalphawhiskey (E, 95K) Really well written, angsty, emotional fic. I love this author’s ability to draw you in so deeply (and the smut is excellent).

Yellow by 13ways (E, 85K) Oh mah gawd. I love this fic so much. This was the result of a reverse big bang I made a prompt for and I’m forever grateful that this was the author who chose it! Yes, it’s Batman/Catwoman. No, you don’t ned to know anything about the comics. But wow! Such good pacing, the smut scenes are fire, the concept is so original and keeps you guessing until the very end. Link is to a download.

Don’t Want Shelter by @kingsofeverything (E, 77K) This author does such a good job of creating these characters and their years-long dislike for each other that when they’re forced to work and live together and confront their behavior, the emotions feel so realistic and you’re just rooting for them to figure it all out. Such a great read (plus, “older” Larry, which is such a rare treat in this fandom).

So, Corte de la Maestra is a hotel in Civita (the town where H has a house). The town is tiny, like less than 20 people live there. But there are tons of feral cats. This particular cat seemed to live at the hotel. Harry’s original finsta was named for, and had a photo of what appeared to be, this cat.

Anyway, I really was making a joke with that post, although I wouldn’t put it past him. But honestly, whatever that tattoo says, it’s not to commemorate a woman he spent two years in a PR relationship with looking more miserable than I’ve ever seen him look.
