reblog and make a wish! this was removed from tumbrl due to “violating one or more of Tumblr’s Community Guidelines”, but since my wish came true the first time, I’m putting it back. :)

Exactly how it happened.

We watched the first Captain America and I have to say, I forgot about all the gay subtext.

From Captain America: Man out of time. I just started getting into Cap comics (more modern stories mind you). On the surface, what his character seemed to be didnt interest me but the MCU took the best of storylines and represented such a compelling character with my favorite sorry arc I love this character being fleshed out as more than the patriot symbol he started as. A man that believes in the good of invididuals. Who is more impressed by civil rights advancement than technological ones. A good man.
