Stassi liked to get out of her office, out of her building. It was her, so her. The way it was set up, and all decorated. Though on days like today when she couldn't come up with a single sketch drove her mad and she needed out. So Stassi went to Mellenium Park, to clear her head to get some inspiration. She stood there, in the fresh autumn air and letting it hit her face. Stassi bit down on her lips "You know. I came here to get inspiration and some quiet and there's just always someone who has to run amuck." Stassi couldn't help but laugh , she took a deep breath "It's beautiful out."

( angela sarafyan, cis female, she & her ) — is that NASTASSIA AJEMAIN stepping out of the L-train? rumor has it they’ve lived in the windy city for 12 YEARS and currently lives in BLEMONT CRAGIN. the 40 year old works as a WEDDING CONSULTANT / WEDDING DRESS DESIGNER and originally hails from LONDON, ENGLAND. SHE has been given the reputation of being BOSSY and CHILDISH around town, but friends say they’re more ELEGANT and ORGANIZED. either way, I think they’re really fitting in here! 

On April 27th back in 1984, a young couple had welcomed their first and only child into the World. A beautiful baby girl was born into the city that never sleeps. Her name being Nastassia Alexandria Ajemain. Her parents Christoff and Genevieve would call her Stassi for short. Christoff Ajemain gave his wife and newborn babygirl the best kind of life. Living with a silver spoon in their mouths, a  penthouse overlooking Central Park. Him being a big shot lawyer, one of the best in the city and his wife being a Prima Ballerina. Stassi truly had a charmed life while growing up. Going to the best schools, wearing the best clothes, having nannies and housemaids. It was like a dream, and Stassi would forever be thankful for it. 

It wasn’t until she was ten years old that her father, Christoff got the job offer he’s been waiting for, to own his own firm. Ajemain and Co was built in Chicago of Illinois, where Christoff was born and raised. So, leaving the city and states behind it was a huge adjustment for Stassi as she packed up her things and headed back to the land of manners. While Chicago was very much different from New York City, Nastassia had grown to love it. 

She had a good group of friends she made up here, and took on dance classes as her mother retired and became a dance teacher part time. Dance was the one thing Nastassia was really good at, it was in her blood. While her father wanted her to become a Lawyer just like him, she wanted to be a Prima Ballerina like her mother. So she practiced and practiced and practiced. It wasn’t until her father told her that there’s someone in London, England wanting to be a partner with his firm and of course to this question, her father said yes. So, Nastassia upped and moved again. 

It was there where she started to draw on napkins, drawing in sketch books and doodling whenever she could. Along with practicing her Ballet. The passion for Ballet wasn’t there as much as drawing on napkins were. It was dresses she mainly drew, big and lavish dresses. Wedding dresses you could say. That’s what she wanted to do in life. It wasn’t until her Junior Year of high school that Stassi realized she wanted to organize Weddings and make dresses. So, she got straight As and went back to the states at Chicago to study Event Planning and Business. 

After graduating college from Chicago, she decided to stay in the states again and decided to stay in Chicago. As a child she had grown to love it and didn't realize how much she missed it until coming back. Having her own little business, more so a wedding boutique with her bridal gowns on display and the other time she’s spent coordinating weddings in town. 

She goes back to London to visit her parents who still live there, but Chicago is her home. She hung up her ballet shoes once getting into her current job, but still takes lessons and tries to keep up with it as much as possible.
