here's a funny conversation topic i had a with a friend: if you're over the age of 25, when's the last time you really *ran* in a panic (like you were late, chasing after something, etc. things like a marathon don't count!) and what was it for?

the sense of horror when you finish a book that was Ass Bad and you go to see what fellow haters are saying but all the reviews say it is the best thing they've ever read. feel like i just saw my reflection in the mirror move all by itself or something

The interesting thing with ai art is that it mirrors the state of our lives so well - the fact that none of ai artists want to spend even a minute on the creative process and actually doing the thing and only want results. And you can see it in a greater scale that it’s inherently based on normalization of neverending consumption and instant gratification under this system, because sometimes I get an impression that some of you would crumble if you couldn’t order shit from temu the very second the want for a new shiny thing is formed in your head. And well. Oftentimes you have to give up things you want and accept that you will never live this ideal comfortable life that you dream of.
