Believe it or not, India produces 3.23 million metric tons of e-waste annually. To act on this, the Indian government has set ambitious targets for e-waste collection. From the financial year 2024 onwards, the collection target stands at 70%.
According to the reports of Statista, by 2022, India collectively collected and processed 527 thousand metric tons of e-waste.

Electronic waste or eWaste has become a major concern for the environment in recent years. With the rapid advancement in technology, we are witnessing massive growth in the production and consumption of electronic devices. Unfortunately, the disposal of these devices has led to a rise in electronic waste, which is harmful to the environment due to the presence of hazardous materials, including plastics.

In the year 2020–21 alone, India processed a staggering 3.4 lakh metric tons of e-waste. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the generation of plastic waste is steadily rising, increasing by 3% each year. But here's the alarming truth – e-waste is soaring even higher, with an astonishing 7.1 lakh tonnes generated in 2018-19 and a jaw-dropping 10.14 lakh tonnes in 2019-20. That's a 31% increase every year!
The time to act is NOW. Our beautiful Earth is silently bearing the burden of our carelessness. Namo eWaste is here to say, 'Stop eWaste just not today, but EVERY day!'
Let's make a promise to Mother Earth on this International eWaste Day. It's time to turn the tide and make a difference.

In a world overflowing with technological wonders, we've inadvertently unleashed a silent, looming threat upon our beautiful blue planet - Electronic waste. 🌐💔 As we discard our outdated gadgets and gizmos, we often forget the devastating environmental impact this e-waste can have on our Earth. 🌿🌍
So, we decided to turn to our ever-evolving partner in progress, Artificial Intelligence, to ask a simple question: "What does the future hold if we continue down this perilous path of electronic waste without change?" What we received were haunting glimpses of a world teetering on the brink, strangled by cables, and blanketed in discarded devices. 😨💔
But here's the twist: Amidst the dire predictions, AI also offered us a ray of hope, a path to redemption - Recycling. 🔄♻️ It showed us that by choosing to recycle with Namo eWaste, we can steer our planet towards a brighter, more sustainable tomorrow. 🌱💡 Visit Us On Website:-https://namoewaste.com/

There is such a difference between the linear, recycling, and circular economies in the e-waste recycling industry. The linear economy follows a traditional "take-make-dispose" model, while the recycling economy aims to recover materials from discarded products. The circular economy goes further by designing products for reusability and minimizing waste throughout the entire lifecycle. By embracing a circular economy approach we can optimise the use of natural resources and create a more sustainable model
