2018 Year of the Dog

2018 is the Year of the Dog according to Chinese zodiac. This is a Year of Earth Dog, starting from the 2018 Chinese New Year on Feb. 16 and lasting to 2019 Lunar New Year’s Eve on Feb. 4.

Peluska, diaper identity and package design

I finally had time to finish publishing one of my previous works. If you would like to look at something lovely during the working hours, you can check out it here.

Peluska is a Hungarian diaper brand focused on creating easily portable mini packs of diaper. The main aim of the brand is to make the parents' life easier with their products. These little packages can be perfect in situations where you have to squeeze everything in a small space, or in a case of emergency, if the standard equipment is out of stock. The pack includes two diapers, one disposable baby changing mat, ten baby wipes and one diaper rash cream. The name 'Peluska' is a kind phrase of the word 'diaper' in Hungarian. My task was to design the brand and 8 labels for the 8 sizes of the diapers, in light of uniqueness, amiability and wittiness.

The graphic design department in the Institute of Applied Arts has started 10 years ago in Sopron. This great occasion has been celebrated with a poster exhibition last Friday in the Formaterem of the school with many students. It was so good to see you guys and last but not least, very happy birthday for Marci Juhász! ♡ I used Áron Jancsó's beautiful typeface for the poster.

Ex libris Vokó Kriszta

This is Kriszta's ex libris, a light-hearted donkey with wings. It's always a big pleasure for me to guess what kind of animal someone is. Although in this case I was not the solver but I was so overjoyed about the solution, I wanted to draw it immediately.

Ex libris for my mom

Maybe this rainy day is the best to publish this ex libris what I designed for my mom. She adores all the cute creatures of nature, this was the reason why I chose Suteev's Under the mushroom tale for the theme of her ex libris.

Under the mushroom

One day, a little ant was walking on a path in a forest when suddenly a hard rain started unexpectedly. Her luck was when she saw a little mushroom not far away and thought that it would be good to take it as an umbrella to protect herself from the rain.

So, she was staying there, when a nice butterfly came and asked for permission to take shelter there too. Of course, it wasn' t any problem about it.

After a while, squeaking desperately, a little mouse came and joined them. The other friends made a little room for the poor mouse under the mushroom. Suddenly, a little bird asked for permission to join them under the mushroom, too.

The three friends called the bird and accepted it too, but they all started wondering how it was possible there was still enough place for all of them?

Then a scared bunny came and asked for a shelter, too. He was accepted and all the friends were staying together. A red fox was looking for a shelter and complained that its beautiful fur was all wet, so she was accepted too.

Soon the rain stopped and the sun came back in the sky through the clouds. All the friends left and only the little ant remained there still wondering how it was possible there was enough room for all the animals under the mushroom? A little green frog climbed up the mushroom and answered to the curious ant that when it rains, all the mushrooms get bigger, they grow!
