Another thing that was sketch requested today. That's all of them! I had too much fun with this one because they explicitly requested something inspired by a moment in my babe @zaebeecee's lovely flash fic, Fight and Flight. Here it is on the Tumbls

He pushed one hand up into Alastor’s hair from his nape, cradling the back of his head with his palm and gently pressing his fingers into the bases of Alastor’s antlers. A second hand cupped the back of Alastor’s neck, thumb and forefinger immediately seeking out the pressure points at the base of his skull. His third hand went to Alastor’s back, stroking down his spine before lifting and repeating the motion as though he was trying to calm a stressed animal. And his fourth hand just rested on Alastor’s shoulder, primarily so he would feel it if the Radio Demon lashed out and could attempt to evade if necessary. “Hey, Smiles, it’s okay, it’s just me,” Angel said as soothingly as he could when he felt Alastor’s muscles growing so taut that he feared the other demon would snap into pieces. “Shh, it’s okay, ain’t nobody in here gonna give you any shit, I promise. And if they try, I’ll kill ‘em for you, or at least hold ‘em down while you kill ‘em, okay?”

Finally watched the Addams Family Values recently! and honestly. my main takeaway is

Debbie slays. And Joan Cusack is a QUEEN

Everyone’s always like “Run! it’s Darth Vader!”They never take the time to appreciate how his armor combines modern design with traditional styles of sith armor.

Oh Anakin is in constant pain and the armor is a “torture device” Vader just doesn’t get that it’s an aesthetic triumph combining ultramodernism with classical influences going back to Darth Bane and the brotherhood of darkness.

“He killed my family” ok did I mention it is designed with functionality in mind and isn’t just pageantry?

The Luke and Vader relationship is about Vader, the eldritch horror that brings death, being weak for one (1) jedi son and being willing to do anything for him.

And it's also about Luke, the eldritch horror that chooses not to be an eldritch horror, being extremely persistent about vader turning back to the light

Actually it'd be kinda funny if luke just hounded vader into coming back to the light like he just fucking pops up everywhere, in vader's dreams in rebellion propaganda in interrogation footage. He just wouldn't let vader rest. Imagine vader trudging through some swamp ass planet and luke popping up from a bush going have you heard of our lord and savior the light side of the force

this is just a personal hc, but i actually think that alastor is the only overlord in pride who has a themed epithet. remember that he didn't give himself the title "radio demon", it was given to him by sinners because he was anonymous, because he didn't build his notoriety with his face or name. all of the other overlords are public figures whose reputations are attached to their actual names—reporters call vox "mister vox" to his face, and in the pilot katie and tom refer to sir pentious and cherri bomb explicitly. the only other classes of people who get titles are the morningstar family, the goetia, and the seven deadly sins, for royalty reasons. so i don't think vox would be referred to as the "television demon" or husk as the "gambling overlord" etc etc by the general public—everyone knows who they are already, it was only alastor's terrifying anonymity that earned him a title
