Why do girls tell you to open up and be emotional... And then, when you do open up, you're suddenly too needy. Too emotional. And girls don't like that. They want the strong alpha male who doesn't give a shit about anything. It's silly when I think about it. They want you to open up for them. But they want you to open up in a way that's convenient to them. I'm sorry, but that's kinda fucked up. When a man opens up to you, when he shows you his vulnerability, when he trusts you with the face that he would never show his friends, he willingly stripped himself bare to show you who he really is. Beyond the bravado and the manly acts of manhood, he's showing you a side he could never show anyone else and you push it away because it's not what you wanted it to be. You wanted it to be sunshine and rainbows and maybe you wanted to be the one who saves him. But when you get the chance, it's more trouble than it's worth. You can't have it both ways. You can have a man who's emotionally dead or you can have a man who's dependent on you for all his emotional support. There is no middle ground here. Not for most men. If your man has that kind of stability, marry him, ladies. But most of us know either stoicism or emotional dependence.
