my unpopular natsu opinion is that i think ledania should have either not ended up with any of the boys, or if it HAD to be someone, it should have marion way down the line. also her own storyline where she’s such a beautiful girl that she’s constantly being dehumanized and objectified adds so much to the story, especially the fact that she’s still a child, like marion, being forced to suddenly grapple with adult-like experience and sexuality being forced on them. marion in a more “direct” way via being groomed, ledania in a more Societal way. which is a common thing women have to go through growing up, being seen already as an object before you’re even old enough to understand any of these things. her rejection and discomfort from being in that position is an interesting element in the story, also gives her a specific perspective of what’s happening around her. i rant all this to say that’s why i don’t like her particular ending… i really love natsu and think it’s so amazing but the ending feels too off
