This is my life in college, my struggles, my ups, my downs, my successes, the things that I am proud of, and the things that I wish never happened. But most of all this is my advice to you if you are struggling or if you are succeeding. Follow me on this crazy journey of college and if you have something to say, let's talk. Check out my "tips" for all the tips I have ever posted. Cheers. ---------------------------------------------------------

My last post was talking a little about what classes I will be taking this next semester.
What classes are you taking? Are they sweet? Shitty? Are you pumped? Or dreading it?
Talk about it!

Winter break is winding down...and the new semester will be starting!
This is kind of sad, but also a big plus. I hated how in high school you would have to go an entire year with a shitty teacher or class. I love how you have a 15 week period with someone and something and after that..regardless of how good or bad it was you get to move onto the next thing!
I'm pumped about this semester because I get to take a bunch of art classes...I'm mostly excited for my painting class though. There was a confrontation with my last art professor at the end of this last semester...
Basically, she gave us paint and told us the assignment. I was obviously pumped because paint is my favorite medium to work with.
I began my project which followed all the guidelines.
After working on my project for 3 days, and after my professor watched me work on my project for 3 days she told me that I had to change it because she didn't care about my skill with the medium and it was too good.
WHAT?
If you give me paint I am going to use it how I know how. Sorry that I know how and had to take this stupid introductory class.
Anyway...
I am really looking forward to this semester, go painting! :)

So, I had a bunch of plans for today.
Like I said before, I am an RA and I need to make 40 door decs, and a bulletin board. I thought today would be a good day to do that.
I also sell earrings on Etsy, I thought-Hey; maybe I could add a new listing today.
I also was asked to baby sit, sure! Add it to my agenda, no problem...
Then I checked my calendar. And I died of a heart attack because I have a shit ton of things to do for my online class. This is why I added my newest tip about being organized.
Luckily, I am crazy and I write things down in a calendar, and in my phone, and on my computer. And I saw all of the ridiculous amount of work that I have to do for my online winter class.
If only I had seen all of that before planning an intense day of door decs, earrings, and child supervision.
Moral of the story: be crazy and write things down a million times so you won't forget.

Tip 09: Orangization
You may not be into keeping a planner or writing things in a calendar. And if you can successfully function like this, more power to you.
But I can't. And if you are like me, I would seriously suggest that when it comes to college...whether its a regular class or a summer class, or even a winter class.
WRITE IT DOWN IN A PLANNER OR CALENDAR. Keep yourself organized people!
My newest post will explain why :) [012]
