It was a stunning day at work today. B&Q is considered an essential retail store during this pandemic and my colleague are working hard to ensure our customers are still getting the supplies they need. Currently, we have only got our click and collect service available, to allow for the fastest and safest transaction possible. Whilst we may be considered essential for now, it is humbling to know that whilst it's calm and quiet at our end, key workers and those in the front lines of this global crisis (such as the health services) are living in absolute chaos! Thank you, everyone, for all your tenacity, faith, selflessness, strength, patience, courage, humility, weariness, fear, exhaustion, sacrifice. Wall light ❤️ - I love the minimalist look. - I love pretty but functional. - I love making the most of space without clogging it up. My mother bought me the photo frame, @forgetmenotillustrations created the four beautiful calligraphy cards and IKEA sold me a beautiful set of fairy lights that have a lovely, soft ambient light. What's a gift to do when she wants light on her side of the bed but not get a bulky lamp? My mothet taught me from fairly early on to use quality products on my face. Your skin is delicate and must be looked after. So if I don't have make-up that I trust, I won't wear make up at all! Face cream and protection is usually simply sunblock and a hat. However, high prices and big brand names doesn't guarantee ethical company standards. I'm currently unemployed and with all the free time I have, I'm hungry for information that will help me make good, healthy choices and life style commitments for a better future. I have often said that I want to be a good example for my children; that has to start somewhere. I can't stay stuck with my nose in the grind, ignoring what goes on in the world at large. My friend @lydfuller83 introduced me to her beauty shop: @contentbeauty, which sells animal-cruelty free, high quality products and I'm very grateful to her for giving me a new source of ethical and organic skincare regimen to turn to. Our Easter Production was another superb success and @must_be_miller has the opportunity to be part of the team that sees it from start to finish!
