!!! The absolute most physical thing my best friend and I do together is hug and occasionally slap each other when it’s funny. Neither of us are physically affectionate and no one questions how much we love each other. They know with absolute certainty that we are best friends. Being physically affectionate with your friends is super cool but also not a necessary thing 👍🏻

I see way too many posts about being really affectionate with your friends and if you aren't hugging and kissing your friends then you don't really have friends and you should be in love with your friends a little bit and it annoys me so here's a post that shouts out non-affectionate friends. shoutout to the people who don't like affection or hugging or being super gushy with each other but still love and appreciate their friends dearly. shoutout to the people who find it really hard to be emotionally vulnerable and sweet but are still always there for you in a crisis. shoutout to people who don't have to be hugging you constantly to prove that they care about you

i think its true that you can use dude, bro, queen, babe- literally any nickname in a gender neutral way, and its also true that if somebody tells you to cut that out because they dont like it then you stop. and i think if you go on to insist 'im not misgendering you i mean it in a gender neutral way' then you get the glock. simples!

I have stores with sex toys in them. Like target and Walmart and such. In the aisle that I have to stand in to get my prescriptions there are sex toys. I have a seven year old. In the time I have been a parent and shopping/getting prescriptions I have never once had my child comment on any of it. They don’t care. They want to tell me about their Minecraft oc. And even if they did I wouldn’t hide anything about it and explain it’s an adult thing.

I’m the one that bothers my mom about it and giggle at the boxes and point out funny words when she has to suffer my presence in the prescription line. And she just ignores it. I’ve never seen a single person in store get upset over it. (I work in retail at a store that has sex toys so there’s been plenty of opportunities to see someone get bent out of shape about it)

Ive been seeing people post their altars a lot lately so i thought id show mine(and my siblings)!

We have a joint altar because of space, and also because we worship similarly. I’ve been cultivating my altars for yeeeeears. Anything I respect, work with, worship with, use to set intentions, think is neat with a spark of magic, and offerings goes here. I know it looks crowded but I have a system (you just have to trust me). Some things in this altar I’ve retired due to having tried and found it doesn’t work for me, or grown and realized it’s closed to me, or what have you, but I still want to hold a space in respect for it so it stays there. My sibling and i pretty much just merged our stuff and it works great(though the vast majority is my collection lol)

I’ve been wanting to work with deities forEVER and I always felt like the time wasn’t right, or I never had the energy to start the research process.

Well last night, I finally FINALLY felt like it was time, so I started doing my research and doing some searching in myself. I’ve had the forming idea that I wanted to work with Apollo and when I started looking into his info and his forms of worship, and things associated with him it felt like someone slapped me upside the head and went ABOUT DAMN TIME.

So, uh, long story short I’m Apollo is my patron now, and I want to scream it from the roof tops because it makes me so happy ~🌞

But to make a short story long! I want to talk about the signs I saw that lead me to this because it makes me excited and also feel dumb I didn’t see them earlier.

-I did archery all four years of high school, and even became captain of the team.

-I love music so so much. I’m constantly playing it and singing. Ive always felt compelled to play an instrument though, I’ve never really grasped it. I even have a lyre.

-the main form of witchcraft I practice is tarot readings which is divination. Apollo being the god of prophecy and all that good stuff of course.

-I’m an artist. I’ve been into the arts for as long as I can remember. I can and will pick up any craft and attempt to learn it. I’ve been drawing in feverish panic since the day I came out of the womb

-and I have the sun and moon tattooed twice on my body. I’ve always been obsessed with sun and moon iconography. (This is a bit silly but bear with me) My sibling and I (were basically the same person) have been talking about getting fnaf tattoos and doing cosplay together for a while, but the animatronics we chose are of course sundrop and moondrop. And guess what, I’ve always chosen to be sundrop/have the sundrop tattoo.

I love how you can have these signs all your life and have it all mean something at some point in this epic moment where you realize they’re connected. It feels good. Anyway I might be annoying about it now, idk, we’ll see
