Always cool (?) to show up at a doctor's appointment as a fat person, because they'll welcome me with a spiel about how all my troubles are caused by my weight and Assuming Things just based on that, then they will check my blood work/measure my blood pressure/check my blood sugar/literally take a look at my heart and go: "... how are you so healthy?" and I'll be like: "yeah that's cool CAN WE FOCUS ON MY FUCKING OVARIES MAKING MY LIFE HELL, NOW???" 馃槶

Like, Lex accidentally (?) creates Conner and Clark is conflicted because he's not sure he's ready to be a dad, but he's ready to try as hard as he can to be the best father in the world and follow his parents' lessons, and he's excited but also scared about finally having someone who's like him in all of the ways other humans are, and in the meantime, unexpectedly to everybody himself included, Lex is just: "I've only had Conner for a day and a half, but if anything happened to him I would kill everyone on this planet and then myself."
I've never before in my life has the urge to write kidfics, but I'm getting closer and closer to writing a clex one entirely based on the fact the dynamic those two have as parents in my head is hilarious.
