coming from a genuine standpoint, why are you using the babyfur tag when you are only using it as a coping mech. you will have pedophiles interacting with your blog if you use that tag, checking through it you can find grown men and women shitting in diapers for fetish content. please tell me you find something inherently wrong with this.

My coping mechanisms and trauma dont end when sexuality starts. What my therapists and psychiatrist feel is healthy is all that matters, not the opinions of ignorant people online. Age play/ABDL/babyfur is not classified under pedophilia, and is actually called "Paraphilic infantilism". Paraphilic infantilism is also not related to sexual abuse or predatory behavior. Also related to ABDL is "diaper fetishism." Wearing diapers during sex =/= pedophilia. Pedophilia is the attraction to children, not the attraction to adults behaving in a childlike manner. Paraphilic Infantilism is also not pedophilia because it does not involve children, it is an activity or relationship dynamic between consenting adults. I'm starting to notice people like you throw the word pedophile around kinda like how people throw the word narcissist around. You're detaching it from its actual meaning which takes away from the severity of it, while also adding to stereotypes. It's also important to note that ABDL and babyfur are not inherently sexual terms. Before the term "age regression" was widely used, many age regressors used the term ABDL. ABDL is also often used by older age regressors. Babyfur is also the same, and many babyfurs are sfw. If your age regression isn't sexual in any way, good for you! I'm glad you found a coping mechanism that helps you. But for some people, it may have some sexual aspects, which is also okay! How someone copes with their childhood trauma is none of your business, and is rather the business of the persons mental health professionals, and partner(s). It's important that you do research about how child abuse and neglect effects people's sexual behavior later in life. Many kinks are developed through trauma. I also do wonder why age play is considered pedophilia in some people's eyes, but pet play isn't zoophilia? If behaving in a childlike manner during a scene is pedophilic, wouldn't behaving like an animal during a scene be zoophilic? Because it is sexualizing the behavior and items related to animals? If you hold that viewpoint for one fetish, you have to hold all the others to the same standard. There is a lot more nuance to this topic than you'd like to admit. Not everything is black and white, humans are imperfect and extremely complex, therefore meaning our sexual behaviors will be too. You are 100% welcome to be uncomfortable with ABDL, but it is not acceptable to make false accusations against people. I recommend doing some reading on this topic, a great place to start is searching "Paraphilic Infantilism" on Google scholar. If you're too lazy to go through and read professional research articles and studies done by psychologists, I'll just link the Wikipedia page to paraphilic infantilism since it's more easily digestible for people like you to understand. I also made a cute and colorful infographic on this topic you can probably find if you scroll far enough down on my account, because for some reason people like you refuse to intake new information if it's not presented in a tiktok video or Instagram post. Unlike you I actually do value credibility and education when speaking about topics like this, it's a shame that you don't. I'm also setting up interviews with a few different sex therapists and am working on a survey, because I'm writing an essay on this topic which I hope to later turn into a documentary, since I am a film student with a huge interest in journalism and teaching. Education is a beautiful thing, you should try it sometime, especially before speaking on a topic you know very little about.

ok so hear me out!!!

i did ship peri and dale in like a haha one sided crack ship where dale falls for someone who hates him, but this one ao3 writer pointed out that peri is the first fairy born in a long time and so pretty much everyone around him probably still sees him as a baby.

fairies live for so long but I'm guessing they aren't interested is someone that's so young compared to them.

poor peri's dating pool is really fucking shallow.

also peri tries to act cool but that fell apart with in like 2 episodes and now i can see peri falling for horrible terrible dale since he has no experience with people being romantically interested in him.

this comic is specially peri getting a relationship with dale and insisting on family time so dev can see his dad more.

unless we get a season 2 and they introduce another character to ship peri with he is doomed to toxic yaoi with dale or irep.
