A while back I watched what I think was a JennaJulien Podcast and in it they were talking about NPC people and I think about that a lot.

I think I am an NPC person. I do the same things every day. I don't think about much or do much to separate myself from other people. I'm just passively living and the only time I ever do anything different is when playable characters interact with me and I have some sidequests I can be taken on.

I feel really disconnected.

I met someone the other day. We've been talking for 8 or 9 months. We have a lot in common. Like scary a lot. So I went to meet them and I was hoping there'd be this big spark type thing that happens or something.

We had a nice time. I enjoyed spending time with them. I like them. But the spark didn't happen. I want to keep trying, but what if it never comes?

What if it's just me and I can't feel sparks anymore? Dumb. That's dumb.
