Night out to my husband's work party with his fellow professors. This is a light/dark/classic academia look I was going for and felt good in! Hope you're having a great holiday season!

A Little Tweed with Miss Ella
I wore this kind of dark academia type look today and took this picture holding my "first child", Ella, who is my 14 year old Morkie. My dress was super comfortable even though I modified it the other day by throwing away the misfit belt and cutting off the belt loops! I thought it looked much better without, and it was very awkwardly fitting with these pieces previously! My outfit is Ella approved. I hope you like. Leave me and Ella your comments! Have a scholarly day!

Evening with Harrison at Disneyland
So my service dog and I were at Disneyland again tonight with my annual pass. Last night of the year for us until we are blocked out for the month of December! I'm dressed in a sort of Classic or Classic Academia style. Harrison is a pro. That is all.

Happy Sunday. Please forgive the pee-pads on the floor -- we have a 4 pound senior pup who does not care where she piddles. <3 Happy Holidays!

“When people are insulting you, there is nothing so good for them as not to say a word -- just to look at them and think. When you will not fly into a passion people know you are stronger than they are, because you are strong enough to hold in your rage, and they are not, and they say stupid things they wished they hadn't said afterward. There's nothing so strong as rage, except what makes you hold it in -- that's stronger. It's a good thing not to answer your enemies.” ― Frances Hodgson Burnett, A Little Princess

“Never did she find anything so difficult as to keep herself from losing her temper when she was suddenly disturbed while absorbed in a book. People who are fond of books know the feeling of irritation which sweeps over them at such a moment. The temptation to be unreasonable and snappish is one not easy to manage.
"It makes me feel as if something had hit me," Sara had told Ermengarde once in confidence. "And as if I want to hit back. I have to remember things quickly to keep from saying something ill-tempered.” ― Frances Hodgson Burnett, A Little Princess
