do you have any tips for tomatoes which were undertaken grafting/graftage? (sry if the wording is weird I just did not find out the adjectif for "grafting")

grafted tomatoes are like other tomatoes but with 2 extra rules:

1. DO NOT BURY THE GRAFT.

There is a scar on the stem where the tomato was grafted to the other tomato/potato plant.  DO NOT LET IT GO BELOW THE DIRT. Tomato stems are kind of photoreactive: if they’re exposed to light, they sprout stems and leaves, if it’s dark they grow roots.  you can use this to trick a non-grafted tomato into growing a more robust root system by burying some of the stem, but if you do that to a grafted tomato, the grafted stem will grow more roots instead of stem, and you get fewer of those delicius fruits you worked so hard grafting for.

2.Maybe don’t abuse this one as much.

Most tomatoes like a bit of abuse- a broken branch, a missed watering etc. to convince them to flower and fruit more, but in general, a grafted tomato is taking a delicious but weaker tomato and putting it on a healthier root stock to increase it’s chances of survival.  Since it’s already genetically limping, it probably doesn’t need the extra abuse.

the exception to Rule 2 are Ketchup an Fries plants, where a tomato is grafted onto a potato rootstock. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BURY THE GRAFT ON POTATO/TOMATO GRAFTS, YOU END UP WITH LESS TOMATO AND LESS POTATO. but the tomato used in these is a hardy one that likes to be bullied a bit and you should continue to lovingly torture it like a normal tomato.

not to be insane and massively self indulgent more than factual but

I was just listening to cure for the 1000th time, and after replaying Till’s part for the 4th time I was like “wow, these lyrics sync pretty well with the kiss scene?” Now of course it’s bound to be because even the beat is the kinda the same. And it could be total coincidence nothing to link here but—what if.... Yk?

I put the two together and tried to see how well they’d sync and I say hey, it’s pretty good (or it could be better if I was a better editor idk)

The rain is matched with the 'fallen stars" lyrics that I'd like to think are either linked to tears or, rain.

when the “On your icy lips” lyric comes up it is synced with the scene where Ivan gives Till one more kiss.

and the “Read my soul” lyric? That’s when Till and Ivan are looking at each other. Ivan is wordlessly asking Till to read him, understand why he is doing this and keep trying to survive, or is it Ivan who is trying to read what till is thinking? Does Till hate the kiss? Will he do anything about it now that Ivan has broken into his space, and pushed past boundaries? will the Till he knows come back?

and the "ooh" at the end matches with the exact moment Ivan is shot because it's "Oh. I can't read you. your book doesn't have the same writing from when we were kids" or just "oh I'm dead lmao"
