i feel like the only reason Bobby doesn't know about the girls being Demon hunters is because he doesn't ask questions, his main focus is making sure they're taken care of

they're acting cranky or just in general sore because of a fight or whatever and he doesn't ask, just brings them up like a whole period basket of candy and a heating pad and ibuprofen and like

He's a lil confused but he got the spirit (the girls don't stop him because that stuff does help)

Rumi tells him she needs all of her outfits to have her arms and neck and upper chest covered? Done. Maybe she has some sort of scarring, maybe she's just self conscious, maybe it's any sort of other things that isn't his place to pry about

His forever first and foremost concern is that his girls are safe and comfortable and well taken care of, and I think that's beautiful and he is perfect

The way I see it, there are two possibilities when it comes to Bobby from K Pop Demon Hunter:

1) He's a former Kpop idol himself, he knows how toxic the industry can be and works hard to be the manager that he wishes he had. He lets them eat as much as they want, take breaks whenever they need, and have complete creative control over their songs and outfits. He doesn't pry into their personal lives and ensures that they always have as much privacy as they want.

2) He has absolutely zero experience with the k pop industry, he's just some random guy the girls hired because he's good at social media and he has absolutely no idea what is or isn't normal for idol groups. Is it normal for the group to be out at all hours of the night only to return looking like they've been in a street brawl? Maybe? Celebrities like to party hard. Is it normal for them to add crazy special effects during the performance without telling anyone? Sure, the fans seem to love the surprises. Is it normal for their work out routine to look suspiciously like ninja training with hand to hand combat and insane acrobatics? Well you gotta stay fit somehow.

Of course there is one immutable fact that is true regardless: Bobby is Huntr/x's dad and he loves his three daughters and works hard to make them happy.

I like the headcanon that Bobby was probably an idol who later became a manager and that's why he treats the girls so well, since he knows how hard the industry is on idols (I don't remember the exact post I read about it but it was along these lines)

But it would make sense why he's so unbothered by the Huntrix shenanigans because Bobby would've probably been an idol around the time the Sunlight Sisters were still active. He's experienced this before, he's used to it. Bobby probably thinks they're just trying to keep a part of the concept of their mentors in their honor or something.

Huntrix just jumped out of a plane to land on stage? Bobby remembers the Sunlight Sisters doing something similar before, what a nice callback.

They're singing about killing demons? Hey that was a concept the Sunlight Sisters did too how sweet of them.

The girls are fighting because Rumi is thinking differently about demons? Oh man, he remembers the Sunlight Sisters going through something similar because Rumi's mom was saying the same things as her. And pretty sure "demon" is still keyword for a guy she's seeing, which he's 90% sure is Rumi's dad. Like mother like daughter huh.

He's probably so desensitised because of that🤣
