— YOU’D JUST WOKEN UP FROM YOUR SLUMBER, rubbing your eyes and stretching out of your bed. it was a bright saturday morning, the sun peeking out from your curtains.

suddenly you hear the door squeak open, “good morning my love..” sunghoon makes his way over to you, sleepily watching him.

when sunghoon entered your shared bedroom, he came in wearing a chic and flashy outfit. you had no clue what his intentions were, but you did know that he looked so good.

he kisses your forehead gently, engulfing you in his warm embrace. “did you sleep well princess?” he asks, running his fingers through your bedhead hair.

“mm..” you hum in response, nodding slightly before resting your head on his chest.

he chuckles softly out of his nostrils, “i wanna take you somewhere today. you’ve been working so hard lately, especially with exams around the corner. let me treat you today.”

removing your head from his shoulder, you look up happily. “really hoonie?”

“really, baby.” — 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐭!

he gets up from the bed, pulling you up with him. “is that why you’re dressed so nicely?” you say, tugging at the collar of his polo tee.

“well yes, but don’t worry. take your time, we’ll leave whenever you’re ready princess,” he caresses your cheek so gently, his touch sends shivers down your spine. “i’ll be waiting downstairs,” he says, kissing you before getting up and heading down to the living room.

you sigh lovingly at the closing door, inhaling the trail of cologne that follows him. you get up and start your day with a shower and some basic hygiene. shaving your legs down to compliment the skirt you picked out prior to your shower, brushing your teeth, and brushing your hair.

you sit down to start on your makeup when you notice that your eyes seem more off center today and one eyebrow is looking more like a distant relative than a sister. small nitpicky imperfections. you begin to whimper, trying to hold back your tears, but it was no use. it didn’t help that your period was coming next week too.

“baby?” sunghoon enters the room hearing your cries. he approaches you softly and looks at you in the mirror asking, “what’s going on love?”

“i’m sorry hoon.. i don’t.. know what’s come over me..” you whine out, turning in your chair and clinging to him.

“hey, hey, shhh.. it’s okay baby.” he lets you cry it out on his abdomen, tracing patterns along your back.

your cries die down a little, enough to tell sunghoon how you’re feeling.

“i was just fine.. then i looked in the mirror..” you say, turning back to look in the mirror.

sunghoon’s face twists in confusion, soon realizing what you meant. “looked in the mirror and saw what? all i see is a beautiful girl with the brightest smile and the prettiest eyes.”

hearing sunghoon compliment you that way made you tear up even more, bursting back into your sob. he was such a sweetheart to you.

you turned around and hugged him tightly, accidentally damping his shirt with your tears, but sunghoon didn’t mind.

“look at me hun,” he says tilting your chin up, “don’t doubt your beauty for a second. you’re my pretty girl, yeah?”

he leans down to close the space between you two with a slow, genuine kiss. his thumb brushing your cheek in soft strokes. he always knew what to say when you were upset, and you loved that about him.

“cheer up baby. do you want me stay here with you until you finish?” he asked, twirling a strand of your hair with his finger.

you nodded, needing his warm presence there to comfort you. with him around, everything felt okay.

“i love you ynie,” he stays, kissing your head before sitting down on your shared bed.

you muster a smile and wipes your tears, looking back at him lovingly, “i love you too hoonie.”

jake was always one to protect you, even before you started dating. being jake’s girlfriend only seemed to ignite his courage to protect you, stopping at nothing to make sure you’re safe. even if the danger isn’t necessarily physically threatening. so when he heard your name in someone else’s dirty mouth, he snapped.

“have you seen the way yn walks bro? how could i not stare at that ass?” says a classmate of yours. he’s chatting with a friend of his, laughing and thirsting over you, like a dog. “doesn’t help that our uniform gives chicks only one length of skirts.” muttered his friend.

this didn’t go unnoticed by jake though. he heard every single word that came out of their mouths, every vile and disgusting comment they had made about you. his girlfriend.

“the things i’d do to mark her body all over dude.. she’s so fucking—“

“that’s enough out of the both of you.” jake had enough. enough of them vocalizing their horny thoughts. enough of them drooling over his girl. you were his, and that meant he’d do anything to protect you. — 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐭!

your classmates were taken aback, thinking they were safe from being heard. “what’re you talking about bro? what’d we do?” questioned your classmate as he stood up to face jake.

jake stepped closer to him, their bodies inches away from each other.

“you have no right to talk about yn like that.” jake snarled in his face.

he scoffed and glanced at his friend before looking back into jake’s eyes. “like i give a fuck. why are you so pressed anyway?? you guys dating or something?”

jake tensed up, not knowing how to answer since you had asked your relationship to be somewhat secret.

“no. we aren’t.”

your classmate’s eyebrows raised, “tch well.. you wouldn’t mind if i tapped it then right?” he laughed in jake’s face, and that was the last straw.

jake swung his fist straight into his stomach, making him gag and fall to the ground. on impact, he crouched down to grasp your classmate’s hair, practically ripping it out of his scalp, and slamming his head down into the floorboards.

he couldn’t remember what else had happened, blinded by rage and fueled by anger.

“sim jaeyun! what on earth happened to you?” you urged your boyfriend to sit on your pink mattress, demanding to know why he was cut up, bloodied, and bruised from head to toe.

jake looked down at his lap, clenching his fists thinking back to the fight, to what he heard. “baby.. they were talking so bad about you. i couldn’t sit there and do nothing.”

“but violence isn’t the answer yunnie,” you frowned as jake winced from the disinfectant you appiled on his cuts, “now look at you.. you’re hurt.”

“i know, i’m sorry. it’s just.. the things they were saying… those vulgar comments those punk bastards had made about you. about my girl.”

you could visibly see jake getting angrier and angrier the moe he thought about it. veins popping up in his arms from clenching his fists so tightly.

you placed your hands on his fists and looked at him lovingly, “hey, hey. it’s over now yun.”

“say you’re mine, will you?” he furrowed his brows and looked into your eyes, seeing the worry and fear in his.

you leaned in to connect your foreheads, wrapping a hand on his nape.

“all yours jaeyun. i’m not going anywhere.”

one thing riki likes to do is watch you sleep. he’ll always stay up later than you just to watch over your quiet figure. and on the off chance that he falls asleep before you, he’d always wake up before you to watch you. he likes to hum you to sleep while he fiddles with strands of your hair, sometimes very delicately and gently tugging a few strands to send tingles down your spine. he likes to rest his free hand inside of your shirt on your bare back to bask in your warmth as well.

one of the reasons he watches you before he goes to sleep is because he likes to make sure you’re sleeping soundly and that nothing’s bothering you. whether it be a stuffy nose where you can’t breathe, pain anywhere in your body, or maybe just paranoia; he wants to ensure you’ll get a good night’s sleep before he does. — more under cut!!

you were scrolling on instagram reels, waiting for your cheeky boyfriend to get out of the shower since you were basically falling asleep while watching a movie with him in the living room earlier. “riki?” you call out.

“hmmm? everything okay?” he replied, his voice a little muffled considering the shower door was only cracked open and the water was still running.

you sigh and look at the time.

… 11:10 pm

“yeah, just hurry up will you?” you ask, scrolling past a few reels.

you hear him chuckle and turn the water off, signaling he’s just about done with his nightly routine.

as you put your phone away, you feel a sink in the mattress and a pair of arms wrap around your waist.

“mmph..” he groans, placing a kiss on your shoulder.

“hi kiki,” you say as you turn around, now facing your boyfriend.

he plants a kiss on your cheek before gently shifting himself up, positioning your head on his chest. “hi angel,” he says.

you hum in response, making yourself comfortable in the crook of his neck with an arm draped over his stomach. riki smiles softly watching you find comfort in his touch, his eyes studying each of your swift movements.

he watches as you slowly drift to sleep while he tells a story, kissing your temple and smiling to himself. you’re so cute when you sleep.

“sleep well baby,” he whispers.

you jolt up, screaming and crying. it’s dark, you can’t see. your chest is heaving and you feel lightheaded. you hold your fist to your chest as your eyes scan the room.

“yn? yn!” riki cups your face, and makes you look at him.

you flinch and yell, pushing him away not realizing who he is.

“yn it’s me, shhh,” he holds you tightly, running his fingers through your hair. “you’re okay yn.”

still trembling, your body recognizes the pattern of his heartbeat and you begin to calm down. your breathing slows and after a few minutes you stop crying.

riki turns around to turn on the lamp on his bedside table, still holding onto you. “bad dream angel?” he looks at you, worry filling his eyes.

you nod and hang your head low. he brings your head to his chest once more. all you can think of is the most gruesome part of your nightmare replaying over and over in your head. you squint as hard as you possibly can to try and rid the image from your mind.

this doesn’t go unnoticed by riki though. he looks down at you and sees the uneasy look on your face.

“do you wanna talk about it?” he asks. it hurts him to see you so uncomfortable, all he wants is for you to get a good night sleep every night, and well, here we are.

you shake your head no at his question. all you want to do is forget about what the hell you just dreamed of.

“okay baby,” he complies and runs his fingers though your hair, “just relax then. i’m here.”

he shifts his body to turn off the bedside lamp and grab his phone to play music. he plays slow japanese jazz, your favorite, in hopes that it’d clear your mind and you’d fall asleep faster.

“goodnight sweetheart.”

“you look big.” you tell him as you watch him take his shirt off. he turns around, face twisted in confusion. “what? what do you mean i look big..” he pouts, letting go of the pull up bar. “your muscles seungie,” you smirk, “they’re so big.. you should definitely let me soft lauch you when we get back home.” reaching a hand out to squeeze his bicep. “oh? soft launch me how?” he asks as he planted his hands on your waist. he wasn’t opposed to the idea of getting soft launched, only gives people more hints that he’s yours. “you should let me tie a cute pink ribbon on your bicep,” you giggle at him, your eyes still examining his figure. “whatever you want, baby. i’m all yours.”

you enter the hotel suite and see heeseung and niki playing games in the living room. “hey guys, where’s jay?” you ask, putting your coat on the hanger next to the door. “oh, he’s at the gym on the first floor. he said he left something for you in his room though.” heeseung answers, his eyes flickering between you and the tv. you nod and make your way to jay’s room, wondering what he could’ve left behind for you. as you open the door you’re greeted with that sweet smell of his cologne, it comforted you instantly. you look off to the side and see a cute gym outfit on the bed and a note reading: “meet me at the gym ♡︎“ - when you get there with the outfit jay had prepared for you, the both of you flirt and workout together, spotting for each other and checking each other’s form.

심재윤 - 𝐒𝐉𝐘

“baaaabe…” you were occupied reading your book on the couch when your boyfriend broke the calm silence. “baby~” he sat down next to you, wrapping his arms around your waist and laying his head on your shoulder. “yes yun?” you placed your book upside down on the coffee table in front of you as to not lose your place. “i saw something online and i wanted to try it with you,” his eyes shine at you. you ask him what it was and before you know it you find yourself on the floor with jake in a starting push-up position on top of you. “count for me okay?” he giggles. he goes down, plants a kiss on your lips, “one,” and goes back up. down, kiss, “two,” up. down, kiss, “three,” up. after 20 push-ups and 20 kisses, he plops down on top of you and rolls so both of you are on your sides, cuddling on the floor. “wanna go again?”

sunghoon had invited you to work out with him since he knew about your goals of becoming healthier and more in shape, though he thought you didn’t need to work out given the fact that you were already stunning to him. “yn.” you jump at his deep voice and turn slowly to see him leaning on the door frame. “ready?” he asks, eyeing you up and down. “yes hoonie~” you smile at him and link arms, making your way out the door and to the gym. at the gym, sunghoon asks you to spot for him while he does a set. “hell yeah! looking gooddd mhhmmmmm” you tease, squeezing his biceps while he lifts the weights. “oh stop it,” you can see his cheeks flushing a little pink, “..and 20.” he puts the weights down and stands up next to you. he proceeds to flex in your face, obviously trying to get a reaction out of you. “do i look good?” he asks. “abso-fucking-lutely, might need you to put me in a headlock.” the both of you laugh and he kisses your temple before continuing your gym routine.

“yo, yn!” a boy shouts at you from behind. you had an airpod in so you thought you were just hearing things and brushed it off.

“…yn!” that same boy caught up to you and grabs your shoulder softly. he pants a little and you turn around to see a familiar face.

“ki? what’re you doing here? didn’t you have isd..” you question and smile at him, in response he wraps his arm around your shoulders, walking at the same pace.

“i did, but the teach let me go early!” he smiles excitedly. “aren’t you happy i’m not breaking my streak of walking you home,” teases the boy. (he begged the isd teacher to let him leave early, even made some sad excuse just to be with you)

you giggle at him, “of course i am riks.” he takes his arm off your shoulders and takes your hand in his, lighting swaying them at the pace of your steps.

“well good, cause if you weren’t..” he reaches for this back pocket, “i wouldn’t have given you this!” he opens his fist and reveal a small box shaped object, a lychee jelly cup. your favorites.

you stop in your tracks, gasping loudly before engulfing riki in your arms. you had been complaining to riki for weeks now about craving lychee jelly.

“awww riki baby,” you stand on your tippy toes to kiss his forehead and hug him once again, “you didn’t have to.”

riki chuckles and hands you the jelly cup. “you know, the whole reason i got isd was because i went to buy you a box of jelly during lunch..” he rubs his neck and laughs, looking down at the ground sheepishly.

“riki!” you hit him playfully on his chest. “we could’ve gone to get some after school silly.”

he takes your hand in his again and says, “i just wanted to make you happy.”

your heart melts at his kindness, he doesn’t express himself verbally but rather through actions. his sweet gestures make you fall in love with him all over again.

you pout at him lovingly and kiss his flushed pink cheeks.

“you’re so sweet riks. thank you sweetheart.” you smile at him.

he smiles back and responds, “let’s go home and eat those jellies i got you now.”
