New Year, New Me Miko

My Miko has been overdue a review for quite some time bless her - she too was a victim to overly bright photoshop actions and orange blush.

I still liked the vibes of some of her outfits, so this really is just a zhuzh up, inspired by some of the Miko's I've enjoyed over time - @djservo's Miko (even when she's locked in the vault) and @bunnithechubs perfect miko colour palette to name a couple...

I was mad conflicted about giving her long hair, when I have so many cute bobs, but I couldn't leave this one alone - I'll maybe do a post of the options because she looks great in so many!

I've deleted this ten times over - I hate sharing my actual self on social media without it being coated in irony/memes, but I've decided to be ~ a bit real ~ for a sec on this new years eve.

I've had a few garbage years back-to-back, mostly work related, but 2024 has by far been the worst. I left a job at the start of this year because I'd been running completely on empty for a solid year (I work in local government ha ha), but instead of the fresh new start I was hoping for, I had a proper mental breakdown. I had to temporarily move back in with my parents, leave my new job and v briefly go to hospital. There are three months I do not recall. I did a full bella swan there's a possibility.

I'm very very lucky to be well-supported by my parents (I got 4 good ones, I'm so luckyyyyyy) and to have friends looking out for me. I'm living on my own in my house again, I'm employed again and in therapy, which turns out to be pretty good for you! I even went on holiday for the first time in 5 years!

Simblr has been my one consistent hobby (ha ha consistent very funny) in this time and I'm very thankful it's here. For all it's faults, it's been a light in the dark for me and I'm always in awe of everyone's creativity. This year was the first time I actually told people in my real life that it's a thing I like to do (my therapist was NOT judgemental and it was great!)

I didn't have a point to any of this, I just feel very proud and thankful and wanted to get it off my chest...so I have.
