Last night’s club meeting was a total success! Everything is now sorted out for Kami Con next weekend.

• Reminder that the money for the hotel ($40) is required by next club meeting (Thurs, Jan 25)!! The ticket ($45) can now only be bought at the door as pre-reg has already ended. 

• Make sure you remember who you are riding with and decide a meeting place when your class is over. 

• Pack lightly, and check the weather periodically to decide what clothes to bring. It would be a good idea to bring your own pillow and/or blanket or maybe a sleeping bag as each room will be packed.

• Make sure you bring enough money for the dealer’s room and for food.

But most importantly, be safe and have lots of fun!!!

Welcome back to college at MSU, anime nerds! We hope to have a wonderful spring semester this year. We’ve got a bunch of exciting things planned and lots of anime to watch. Here are important dates for the semester:

Wow, dividing ~60 people into teams for trivia night was hella hard and chaotic, but somehow, we made it work xDD The teams are UnderDogs, Squad Fam, [...], Loser League, and Sharknado!

After two weeks, we are finally back again tonight! And tonight is also our first TRIVIA NIGHT!! So come prepared with all your anime knowledge cuz you’ll need it to bring your team to victory!!

ANIME CLUB CANCELLED

Sorry I’m posting this hella late, but yes Anime Club’s meeting was cancelled today (8/31). The outer rain bands from Hurricane Harvey (which now has been downgraded to a tropical storm) were spawning tornadoes all over northern Mississippi and Alabama, with one getting as close to Starkville as Columbus. Club needed to be cancelled for the safety of officers and members as tornadoes spawned quite randomly and it was difficult to tell if one would hit Starkville as we were under a tornado watch for several hours. 

We will be back next week though, so see you guys then!

WOW

What an amazing turn out we had tonight!! The total number of attendees for Anime Club’s first meeting for fall 2017 was a whopping number of 65 people!! That’s incredible!! We hope to see each and every one of you guys every week this semester. We’d love to have you for our parties and our trips to conventions. It’s gonna be a blast!!
