The Super Sonic theory

So, my theory is based on the fact that Sonic is the only one who when using his Super form turns gold because, being the fastest living thing in the world and being the ultimate life form, it gives Sonic a resistance that allows him to use the power of emeralds in a correct form

Shadow turns yellow, not gold, unlike Sonic. this is because he is an imitation of the ultimate life form, he can use the power of emeralds correctly but not fully.

that is why it has a lighter color, like the other beings in Sonic's world that can also use the super form because their bodies are not strong enough to withstand the power of the emeralds.
