"Hi Hi~" Claire ignored the dry tone of the god but just waved at Susanoo, her smile bright as she practically skipped towards him, the balloon bobbing behind her. Dressed in a bright purple sundress and sunhat, hair in braids, the green balloon completed her ensemble.
"It's great to see you here, are you a fan of the circus too?" Claire asked amiably, just as a cartwheeling clown tumbled between them that Claire had to hop and peek behind the clown's legs to see him.
"Funnel cake?" She offered the pastry bag to him, as if nothing cheered her up more than seeing a friend at the circus.

Claire nodded, happily placing the containers of the fruit unto the table and reaching for plates to arrange the fruit. She almost dropped it though when Cass lunged at her and she could only shriek as she tried to wriggle away.
"Cass!!! CASSSS!!" She screamed-laugh, only able to flail her hands as she tried to escape. Laughter echoed across the kitchen and Claire managed to sink her fingers to tickle her twin back. She tried to escape across the kitchen counter to get away from her sister's tickle machine fingers squealing all the way, oblivious to anything but just having fun.
"Okay, Cass." Claire smiled reassuringly, cheerfully flipping the sausage as instructed, clearly not as anxious about the breakfast as her sister. "I'm sure Charlotte will love it, she's very nice and sweet that way." She added, watching the sausage sizzle on the pan.
"That looks good," She shuffled towards Cass and peered at her pan. The egg was sizzling happily. "Maybe you can cook breakfast for us more often!" There was no sarcasm from Claire, never from her. She truly believed Cassandra's cooking was great.
"Oh, I have some blueberries, apples and strawberries." Claire nodded happily and walked towards the fridge next. Her own cooking was still on the pan.
"Should we do everything?" She asked from over her shoulder, pulling the containers from the shelves. "And yup, I got a gift, I hope she likes it." She places the fruit on the table, and turns off the pan and gets her own plate to dish the sausage.
"Cass..." She looked up now, her expression was both serious and earnest. "I love you. And Char. You know that right?"

"Hmm?" Claire looks up from her guitar, her fingers stilling from plucking the strings. She recognizes the god, though she really hadn't done much in the way of really talking to him. "Oh hello," She smiled in greeting.
"Were you talking to me?" She places the guitar down on practice bench next to her. She was at the stage of PAC, as the acoustics were better here, and she got permission from Apollo to practice whenever she wanted. While HEXED usually had her using an electric guitar, Claire liked to practice with her acoustic.
"Are you looking for somebody? It's just me here today." Claire smile pleasantly.

"Hmmm...the thought makes sense...but you think Charlotte would eat any thing we cook versus a nice yummy meal from Miss Angela's?" Her lips twitch in teasing even as she returned to her pan.
"What if she likes crispy? What if she likes soft?" Claire tossed back. "I was just making sure." She looks over to Cass' pan. "Ouuu the cheese looks good. Are we cooking our own breakfast too?" Her fingers drift towards the hot pan.
Hissing when she almost burned herself, Claire did as she was told and placed paper napkins on both of their serving plates. "How does Charlotte do this everyday? And for more than one meal?" She shook her head in amazement. "Maybe we should get something more?"

Claire followed Cass' instructions absentmindedly, her mind still half-asleep. Letting out the loudest yawn known to mankind, she finally managed to get the stove started.
"How come we didn't buy food from the Flower Mill instead?" She waits for the pan to heat up, without really understanding how to do it. "Miss Angela has tasty croissants, I know Charlotte gets some sometimes."
Claire yawns again and watches the eggs get cracked and into a bowl. "Are you going to put cheese in it? Sometimes Char puts yummy cheese. It makes it all gooey.." She smiles at the memory before turning to her own pan. "What do I put first?"

"Oh," Claire gives a soft giggle again. "It's just a figure of speech, Mother. " She was not mocking her, more amused at her mother not getting human idioms. " I just meant no untrained person should have powers. It won't end well." She sobered up a bit, remembering her early attempts at trying to use her own powers.
She was grateful when Hecate continued talking about dragon fruit, and she looked back at her mother thoughtfully. "Nope," She said this rather cheerfully, mostly amused again at her mother's incredulity.
"I..." Her cheeks reddened a bit, as Hecate asked her favorite fruit. "I like peaches too." She smiled, this time a bit more warmly. She was not a person who had artifice, and when she liked something, or was pleased. She would show it. Claire was not going to hide that she liked the idea that she and her mom shared something alike.
"Oh, thank you." She blushes again as Hecate complimented her and she reached to hand her a small knickknack. It was a small mirror, with a dark purple back wit an ornate yew tree. It didn't look like it belonged it Happy Berry. "This is for you. I'm sorry, I didn't wrap it."
Devil fruit?
continuation from here.
@mpxclaire :
"Hmm...fruit giving powers sound interesting.." Claire tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Though pretty dangerous, I don't think it's a good idea for any old person to just randomly get powers. I mean, Cassie takes extra care with her fire thingy, it would be bad if some random newbie got them." She continues as she arranges the things on the counter, straightening up at Hecate's question. She supposed the goddess wasn't too bad. At least she was less scary when they first met and Claire wasn't oblivious to her attempts at making a connection. Not a lot of deities did that for their kids. At her question Claire wrinkles her nose. "It...actually doesn't taste like anything." She confesses with a small laugh remembering the time she ate one. It looked pretty cool with the pink and green skin and the inside had looked tempting to eat. "The texture is soft, like jello but it doesn't taste like jello...It's a weird fruit. Don't eat it." She added with a soft giggle.
Hecate smiled fondly as Claire voiced out her thoughts and at the mention of Cassandra, the goddess chuckled by knowing her daughter had chosen to be cautious with her destructive powers. Given her apparent temperament, Hecate had no trouble imagining Cassandra could be out there with her abilities, but she knew her triplets would be better than that. "Any old person? You think a younger mind wouldn't be as dangerous? Imagine being given powers before you even understand how to deal with the world."
She wouldn't dare to mess with Claire's work so Hecate was careful when leaning on the counter to not accidentally interfere with the neatly placed items. But she felt the need to be closer to her daughter, but keeping proximity at a comfortable distance. "Uh? Really?" At Claire's first description towards the fruit, Hecate raises her brows, quite surprised with the reveal and honestly, confused. "No taste whatsoever as in, you eat it but no flavour, no scent? No nothing?"
The giggle melted Hecate's heart and she did her best to keep herself from smiling so widely it would be perceived as creepy or at least, odd. "I will keep that in mind. Such a disappointment, it has such vibrant colours on the outside but turns out to be bland... Ah such a shame." The topic was rather casual, but Hecate was still immensely amused. "What's your favourite fruit Claire? Or any fruit or food out there you've been curious to try? My favourite would be peaches actually, I must admit." She continued, noticing peach coloured bow on display right next to claire. "Hum, this color suits you."

"I'm fine..." Claire hissed, clutching her arm as she felt blood drip from between her fingers. She shook her head, un-wigged hair falling down her shoulders with the movement. Well she was not exactly fine, but it was her own foolishness.
"I must have said the wrong thing," She muttered to herself as she looked for a first aid kit. "This isn't my first potion industry, Mother." She gave Hecate a rare exasperated look. She sighs when she saw the angry wound on her arm. "Cass is going to kick me butt,"

"you're not bad as everyone says you are"
"Me?" Claire blinked, blonde hair and face dressed for the stage. A clear example of a rocker chick, except for the curious look in her eyes that suggested she wasn't a typical stoic musician.
"Are you a fan of HEXED?" She asks curiously, not completely bothered by the earlier words. "Oh, maybe I'm not your bias...Sorry, Charlotte and Cass are getting ready."

"Sausage...Sausage..." She murmurs as she looks for the links. She spotted them, reaching to hold a link only to drop it back on its plate. "Ooof cold." She peered at it as if it was an interesting experiment. "Do I just fry these?"
She looks at the eggs. "Maybe scrambled is easier to do, you crack them in a bowl anyways so they're already broken..." She said aloud as she searched for a pan. Charlotte certainly didn't look this clueless when making breakfast.

Claire tilted her head at Arwyn, studying him thoughtfully as she placed more flowers into her basket.
"Haven't you gone on a midnight walk before?" She asked curiously, no judgement in her tone--merely wondering. Still, at his words she led the way towards a brighter area, not much due to the cloudy sky, but better than the shades of the trees earlier.
She offers her hand to him now as they walk through the darker part of the forest. "Do you want to hold my hand? I walk around here a lot, I won't get lost, promise." She smiles amicably at him.
continuing on from here for @mpxclaire
arwyn didn't really like the way that claire was so nonplussed about being in the dark forest at such a late hour. sure, likewise--he shouldn't have been out sneaking around in the forest too, but on days with the fuller moon, he liked going somewhere a little more barren and peaceful for a few hours...just to glance up at the moon and feel a little closer to his father.
a stupid sentiment, really.
but well.
arwyn scrunched his nose cutely at her words, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he rocked back and forth upon his feet nervously. usually, he wasn't as jittery as he seemed to be, but the night sky above them seemed a little too dark for his taste.
it wasn't acting as normal as it should be. or perhaps...that was simply just his nerves making itself known at the most inopportune moment and place.
"claire--" he pouted, the whine soft but tentative as he inched a little closer to the other demigod. "let's just go to a brighter place. something feels creepy around here. i'm getting goosebumps for a reason, i'm positive about that."

❛ i'm the asshole? what does that make you then? ❜ Heather snaps into the phone he’s got pressed to his ear. “I HOPE YOU STEP ON EVERY LEGO YOU STUPID CUSS!”
Claire was minding her own business, doing a few grocery shopping for Charlotte--because she was capable of that errand at least only to get distracted by a phone call to her right a few paces down the cereal aisle. Before she knew she it, she was invested in the conversation, only to bump into the other person just as he said his last words, sending her cart crashing into him.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" She cried distressed as she ran towards him, both worried of injuring him as well as his temper.

"No, it probably can't be." Claire answered her sister now, propping her chin atop Cass' shoulder to see the spread. "You really went all out Cass, this looks great!" She chirped at the still uncooked ingredients with a smile and no sarcasm. Kissing Cass' cheek, Claire shuffles away to get the pans that Charlotte often used. "What do you want me to do?"

"If that's what you call dragon fruit yes?" Claire's brow was furrowed, looking back at the goddess standing in Happy Berry. The eldest of the triplets was slowly getting used to Hecate coming around. She had liked her birthday gift, and had seen her sisters get one two. But Claire had always been the easiest to befriend. She was terribly trusting, it was the reason their father managed to control her all these years.
At the memory of their father, Claire shook her head. It was silly to miss the man who kept her locked up in a basement. But the sight of her mother brought the memory back of being abandoned. Frowning to herself she placed the box she was carrying atop the counter.
"What's a devil fruit, mother?" She asked instead, both curious and not wanting to explain the look on her face earlier.

"Oh sure thanks!" Claire spoke in a hushed voice but the cheeriness was still heard. She was crouched next to a thistle bush, carefully extracting some to place in her ingredients basket. The potion she was making required winter ones. She scooted to the side to give room to the other girl, as if it was a common occurrence to bump into each other while gathering herbs. Like a meet up at a grocery store.
Claire smiled, even though it was barely visible through the thick scarf around her neck. This year's winter was really something! Claire had managed to find a lot of her end of the year ingredients thanks to the cold weather. She looked at the other girl and almost knew immediately she was also a potioneer.
"What ingredients are you looking for?" She asked with a smile, forgoing introductions in favor of her curiosity.

"Oh but sometimes it's for my own good I know." She smiles sheepishly before turning her eyes back on the fighting ring. She usually liked to watch Arwyn's fights. Even the scary owner wasn't enough for Claire to stay away. Even when she was warned that the place was dangerous. To Claire, the Pits was an exciting place. Especially since she can't really fight like the fighters.
"You won't tell anyone I'm here right?" She asks the guy again, tilting her head before a look of pleading crosses her face. "I'll only be here for a little while now, and then I promise I'll head home."

Breakfast... Attempt
@mpxclaire
Cassandra had never really been on full of holiday cheer, but the demigoddess did care about her sisters enjoying the holidays. This typically meant she did things that she found stupid for their sake, and constantly, she took this time of year as a chance to return the love they had given her. She was never great at showing that affection, but Cassie had her moments. For this Christmas, she had convinced Claire to help her make breakfast, allowing Charlotte a chance to sleep in.
Turning to her Claire, Cassandra had just pulled out all the ingredients for their breakfast ensemble. Eggs, sausage, fruit, and a crammed box of croissants(that she was going to pass as them making) littered the counter. "Hey, sleeping beauty." She said, turning her attention back to the counter. "This can't be too hard, right?"
