The Flash

Anyone get to see the new Flash movie yet? I went and seen it yesterday with my father for his birthday and I was surprisingly pleased. Now I will admit I know nothing about the comics. I know, I know! I really should. But I am a huge fan of all the superhero movies and shows. So my opinions are only based off what I watch and not about the comparison with the comics.

What I will compare is Barry Allen from the show vs Barry Allen from the Justice League/ DC movies. I loved the show and thought that Grant Gustin did an incredible job at portraying the character and making the fans fall in love with him as The Flash. Now if you know anything about Ezra Miller, you know that they aren't the best person in real life. But I do feel like Ezra Miller did an okay job as the flash and is a decent actor. I don't really like his suit design, specifically his helmet, I feel like it makes his head look like and egg. Overall though I feel like The Flash was pretty good, I feel like there was a similarity between the stories from the show and I had to remind myself that technically the DC movies are in another universe and the stories are going to be a little different, so I had to separate the two. I'm a little embarrassed to admit but the movie even brought some tears to my eyes. I don't know what their plan is for future movie plans but I felt like the movie was pretty good and it kept me interested to see what they do with future films.

Lie To Me Show

Recently started watching this show. I am on season 2 and it is sooo good!! I seen that it only has 3 seasons, a little depressing but still enough to make a decent series. I feel like if a show only has one or two seasons on it, you will be disappointed and it will just leave you wallowing on your sofa because we won't be knowing what happens next.

Does anyone know anyone that is really good at lying or really good at catching lies?

Happy Sunday and Happy Mothers day!! What are your favorite movies or tv shows to watch with your mom or that remind you of your mom? Mine would be Gilmore Girls. My mom and I would always watch that show together and would often relate to that show because she was also a single mother raising an only child until my siblings eventually came into the world.

How do you guys feel about Abbott Elementary? I just started watching it. It's not my typical show that I usually watch, normally I like dramas or action packed shows but I find this one to be really funny!!

Pitch Perfect is on Netflix!! Who's excited? I remember when this movie first came out. I watched it on repeat for a month. Which one is your favorite? Pitch Perfect 1, 2 or 3?

What’s your favorite scary movie?

Mine will always be the scream franchise, it was the first scary movies that I ever watched but I really enjoy The conjuring franchise as well, those one brought back horror in horror movies in my opinion.
