So, #throwbackthursday . I'm not sure when this was, maybe 3 years ago? I remember being so tired from going to the park with my little brother. I'm literally sitting down using a stick to push us. I keep forgetting I did things like this. My husband found this video that honestly I didn't even know was out there. It humbles me SO MUCH with my progress seeing the old me like this. I got tired doing the most simple things like playing with my little brother! He spends so much time playing video games and really needs active people to look up to. I feel bad I for a time was a bad influence with that. Wow. I'm feeling pretty good with myself right now. So whether I'm eating "good" or "on point" to wls or keto I can't seem to get away from having a bulletproof coffee for breakfast every morning. Even if I know I plan to eat junk the rest of the day I feel good knowing I started with some good heaping fat!! A cup of coffee, tablespoon of butter, tablespoon of brain brew, some sugar free syrup, and a few drops of stevia then blended. Amazing. Decadent. Fabulous. Ugh love it!! 💖💖💖

Feeling like an old bitty today. 30!!!! Never thought I'd feel so young and more full of life than I've felt in my adulthood at this age. Trying not to let the thought of weight loss take over my life anymore and just looking to keep feeling as good as I do now and possibly even better! Every day is truly a blessing for how amazing I feel. We got a tiny cake so we wouldn't feel tempted to eat too much 😂

Happy #transformationtuesday !!! Top two are the day before surgery 5/1 and bottom two are today, 9/19, just over 16 months later. I definitely feel like the old me a lot which kind of depresses me, however I look at these and think wow all this saggy skin used to be totally full of fat and make me feel so uncomfortable. Yeah I feel uncomfortable a lot with it flapping around and having to tuck it, but it's not hindering my living the way it was before. I'm not perfect and neither is my journey - but that's the point! I'm still learning every day what makes me happy and makes my body feel good. Poppin in a quick #facetofacefriday before midnight! Left is a year ago - already 4 months post op and right was last weekend! Just the little things are crazy at how different it makes me look. Like my neck is slimmer and it looks like my birth spot moved!!! I have actual cheek bones under my chipmunk cheeks!! What?? It's gotta be thanks to my egg fast but I absolutely get full quicker than I have been in the last few months. Thank you little tummy! First on left is my Cobb salad before I opened it. Happy #transformationtuesday !! I love autumn and all things fall so much and I am so hype to be able to be comfortable in flannel and layers for the first time. Left is two years ago and right is this past weekend in the same button up. It used to not even close all the way and it was a 2X (old navy's largest size). I still wore it tons because I loved it so much. It was tight on my arms so I often covered it up even more with another sweater. Submitted my final weigh in for a diet bet today that I thought 100% a few days ago there was no chance I was going to qualify for. I started it at 172lbs so the goal was 165.5 . I weighed in on Sunday night for another diet bet at 179 lbs!!! I was like - wow I've fallen off so hard and this coming weigh in is not happening. Well. I did the keto egg fast this whole week and holy FRICKEN CRAP!!!!! ?????? 14lbs in 5 days?????? What!!!! I didn't even lose weight that fast right out of surgery!! I want to be clear I don't condone drastic dieting by any means, but this egg fast was used only as a means to break my bad habits to get me back to feeling good and I 100% feel amazing right now again. I would not recommend doing the egg diet longer than 5 days. I absolutely miss veggies and can't wait to tear up a salad hardcore ASAP!! But just.. omg. I can't even believe it. I totally threw the towel in on this dietbet after my weight blew up. My weigh in is under review so I'm crossing all my fingers and toes that they don't need me to redo it tonight because we all know 100% your weight is higher at the end of the day after all food and water 😅😅😅 But anyway!!! I posted this on my insta story last night, but I had it again for dinner so I wanted to share. Made an egg fast friendly quiche! Whole dish was 12 eggs, 12 tbsp butter, 4 oz cream cheese, and 8 oz shredded cheddar. Mixed some random spices in there too. It is DELICIOUS!! Higher calorie than I'd normally eat but it's soooooo good and filling and ugh! Cut into 12 pieces so each piece for the egg fast counts as 1 egg, 1 fat, 1 cheese. I put less than a 3rd serving of sugar free ketchup on top which is about.. 1.5 calories that I'm not gonna lose any sleep over 🙄 Hubby already tapped out on me for the egg fast but I'm still going strong!! 3 days down and the only thing I haven't hit is one day I missed a fat and yesterday I was short an egg and a fat. Not a big deal, reasonable for my tiny tummy to be okay on less than normal people amount. Hit all the goals today though!! I'm really digging this. Definitely going to use it in the future again to get me back into keto if I stray or if I'm stalling. I was 179 Sunday night (wow I went nuts eh) and 170 this morning??!!?! I don't feel like I'm doing a crazy restrictive reset diet or anything either. Just my food options are less! Happy #transformationtuesday !!! Left is a year ago after I had already lost a decent amount of weight after my surgery (about 50lbs down from surgery at this point) wearing a shirt I was never able to wear comfortably because it was so tight that I felt gross. Right is today, another 50ish pounds down from that and the shirt is now hanging off me!! I love going back and looking at how clothes fit me before. The scale isn't as drastic these days so stuff like this really gets me excited!! It's like I have a brand new wardrobe every day, all my things I hardly wore are so much more comfortable now. It also makes me so happy to see 'after' photos being used as before photos!!!
