Aksamitka
She’s a round lady who gets lost way too often! Then screams for Staś to come and escort her to the rest of the flock. She’s a very strong hen, battling ear canker(?) for 2 years now! She’s even more soft than she looks, whey you hold her it’s like touching a cloud of feathers that kinda melts in your hands. She’s the second top hen and despite being small and gentle, she will kick other’s asses if necessary. Her name means Marigold.

Kokosanka (passed away)
One of my first hens, unfortunately I’ve bought her sick and had no experience with treating or even noticing worrying symptoms in chickens nor knew about the avian vet in nearby village. She had extreme case of scaly leg mites, was malnutritioned and thin, shitload of external parasites so it’s safe to assume internal ones as well.
Despite that she kept making chatty silkie noises, loved red currant and had mild personality. She used to nap a lot but that was due to her poor health.
Her name means coconut cake and was suggested by BlackWyvernGabrielle.

Charlotte (passed away)
Charlotte was more than anything a friend. It’s amazing how she went from extremely terrified and skittish to trusting and tame lady, first to run to me when I had some red sweet pepper treats for her. She was dove-sized and sure could fly effortlessly like one, she also chirped instead of clucking. Despite small size and overall submissive personality, she was very defensive of her overgrown unexpectedly adopted chicks - Ruski and Cookie.
If you’re going to draw her keep in mind that her legs were short - she was a chabo hen which is an unhealthy breed of dwarf chickens. By dwarf I don’t mean in bantam terms, these birds are literally bred with deformity resulting in short legs. Passing genes responsible for this trait also results in high mortality in about-to-hatch chicks.
We were affectionally calling her Charlottka (diminutive from her name) which sounds exactly like szarlotka in our language - an apple cake.

Rodzynka (passed away)
Also a hen that I’ve got from BlackWyvernGabrielle together with Margo. Rodzynka was a sweet companion who would follow us around a lot and loveeed earthworms. She’d harass for food, jump on the bench, jump on you, jump everywhere. She was an adventorous girl who knew no boundaries and the first one to examine every part of our backyard.
Rodzynka means raisin and was named by Gabrielle :)

Margo
Margo is a hen that I’ve got from BlackWyvernGabrielle. She’s extremely gentle despite being the top hen and likes to snuggle under Staś when going to sleep. She gets very excited about being let out to the backyard or whenever possibility that someone brought food exists. Nowadays she rests a lot due to poor health.
Margo means pearl (even though not in our native language) and was named by Gabrielle :))

Cookie
Potato shaped tyrant. For some uknown reason, she YELLS a lot. It’s literally human-like yell, nobody knows why she does that. She’s very tame and loves food and doesn’t mean some beard scritches. Her comb is hella soft and squishy in touch. Loud, a bully, but still my baby 9/10.

Klementynka
This chaotic creature is very busy, very focused and very speedy. There are so many stuff going on and she must examine everything. She likes to fly and does it very gracefully. 90% chaotic energy, 10% cute.
Klementynka means clementine fruit.

Bidula
Her name literally means ‘poor creature/girl’ because we bought her with injured eyelid and she’s very delicate and as a result others (aside from Wanda) bully her a lot and she can’t stand up for herself. Very sweet nonethless, I hope she’ll open up more to her new environment and us.

Wanda
Wanda is absolutely and utterly sweet. First of all, she squats for me. Other than that she makes adorable chatty noises and is very gentle and soft in touch. She’s a really delicate and kind hen. She doesn’t have a tail.

Pyza
Pyza is a flighty hen who’s very indecisive and panics easily. She tries to be more courageous but is not the wisest and takes her time but that’s ok, we love her anyway.
Pyza’s name comes from polish dumplings variety.

Beza
Beza is a very curious and brave hen, she loves fruits. She’s approachable and just wants to make sure that you brought her a treat. She likes high perches. She’s such a good girl, 8/10 because of poopy feet.
Her name means meringue.

Benia
Benia is actually a very interesting fella. At frist we named her Bandit because she was fighting and bullying everyone but at the same time she’s the first one to run away and hide under other hen’s bellies. She’s tiny, even for a silkie and just kind of... takes her time to process things? Like, I offer her a gooseberry and she just stares and considers her options. Tldr; Benia is very cute and lovely.

Banan
Since she’s quite new here, I didn’t figure most of her personality yet. She’s quite a serious lady who likes to remind others their place by pecking them. She’s curious and somewhat courageous but cautious, so far she loves red currants. She likes to melt sunbathe.

Staś
Staś is momma’s boy. He doesn’t mind cuddles, kisses, being petted or held and is remarkably patient. He doesn’t know how to mate with hens (I mean - he does but he’s veeery clumsy) and he fights with crocs. Staś likes to checks if his hens’ nests are comfortable and warm and if not, he’s all about fixing it and calling them with clucking noises. He’s overall a good boy.

Baba Yaga
Baba Yaga joined our family not too long ago. She mostly minds her own business and isn’t too interested in hanging out with others. She belongs to Staś’ flock. She’s quite melodramatic and a bit of a wimp but we’ll be working on it. She has her own weird quirks, pecking water instead of drinking it for example.
