so glad to see people being critical of neris. i thought i was delusional for thinking neris just… doesnt work the way people were saying they do. when so much of a ship relies on fanon characterization of one half of the ship, and yet the fanon characterization AND dynamic is treated as canon… i cant… especially when people say nesta deserved a king�� she was literally groomed by her mother into achieving that marital status and you want.. what her mother wanted for her? IN THE AUTUMN COURT? theres just waaay too much assuming being done about how neris would have functioned for people to be saying nesta deserved eris over cassian…

maybe its cause i like nessian and i think people mischaracterize cassian to push their anti cassian/anti nessian/pro neris agenda… but 🤷‍♀️ anyway, i’m glad to be seeing the neris criticism!

I don’t think people realize how stupid rhysand was when giving cassian a diplomatic role. the first time we see cassian and nesta together the nc needs her help and her house to meet with the queens and what does cassian do? he calls her out on shit he doesn’t anything about when they need her help. I don’t have to explain how insulting the person you need help from it’s a dumb thing to do.

please let him be a general and do NOT give him diplomatic roles unless you want to exclude your court from the political scenario.

acotar where everything’s the same but the high lords are ten times weirder than everyone else because the magic of the land actively molds them to fit their court and in turn makes them into something that’s not quite fae. beron who is a little too long all over, a little too spindly, who can twist his head too far around like a barn owl. when tarquin smiles, for just an instant, he has too many teeth to fit in his mouth and his eyes shift with the color of the sea. killias’ mere presence drops the room’s temperature, his skin glimmers like ice in the sun, and when he speaks there’s a rasp in his voice that brings to mind the howling of a deadly blizzard against a mountaintop. i truly do think it would make them all 10x sexier actually.
