My absolutely fav project so far... ✨my partner's mother was so kind to offer to buy me yarn for my birthday last year. I decided to get some of this beautiful CaMaRose Høst yarn in Evening Sky and make myself a sweater with it and I love it so so much! I used the Balloon Pullover Pattern by Magdalena Lisiecka (@mermaidsyarns over on insta) and this yarn drapes so beautifully... I will have to update with some photos wearing it because I don't think the photos of it laying flat do it justice!

Finally finished this behemoth of a project 🫶 a blanket I made as a wedding gift for some friends, they have a dachshund and love the lil guys so I thought an extra long wiener dog would be a fun blanket design. This is heavily inspired by devout_hand on insta and their sausage dog scarf pattern!

I'm still adding a border but first will be a bit of a break and weaving in the ends <3 Some closer shots of the blanket which make a silly shorter dawg:

One of my more recent projects! I worked on these over my holiday break and I absolutely love them - I've been biking into work and these have been perfect for that, and they make me feel joy when I look at em and they're just the silliest lil alien mitts ever lol

Hey all! It's been a hot minute - I've been getting my wits about me because of my new job so I haven't had as much time to create as I've wanted the last few months. BUT I have finished a few projects that I need to take some photos and share asap!

My next goal will be to finally get through some of my stash yarn to make room for new tapestries I want to create and make patterns for (like Jimbo from Balatro...) so hopefully I can get through those sooner rather than later as well :)

In the meantime I've created a buymeacoffee so if you're interested in any of my patterns, they're available here for cheaper ($1 CAD) since there are no etsy fees on top of it!!

Beanies!! I have ended up using a lot of scrap yarn into beanies and I really love how they've all turned out. I primarily used the beanie pattern by erin_reiko with some of my later beanies having slight adjustments, such as switching the 5 stitches closest to the top of the beanie from a half double crochet to a single crochet so that it would bunch up a bit nicer. I think these are all so cute!

Also shout to this balaclava I made a while ago, she's a cutie too

my Samarie tapestry from Fear and Hunger is complete! She took me about 60 hours all in all, and came out to 75" long and 32" wide (w/o the dowel). Definitely waaay bigger than I expected, and I think she'll be my largest tapestry ever because idk if I could do that again LOL.

Another project I finished up (aside from weaving in the ends). Tried my hand at making a repeatable pattern and I'm actually quite pleased with how it turned out. I'll probably work at adapting it into a pattern like I currently am with my drippy tapestry!

2024, acrylic yarn

A gift I made for a friend recently for her birthday. She loved it which made me incredibly happy. I also love the colors and how it all came together!

I think I've found the first pattern I want to have on hand as a made to order + make a pattern of it 🫶🪐 it's a simple one but I really like the flow and almost optical illusion of it. I'll still have to test around with needle size I think!

What do we think?? Is it any good??
