Big Martyn closeup jumpscare.

I haven’t drawn limlife Martyn since APRIL. Atrocious. Limlife Martyn forever and ever.

I felt extremely inspired by the glitchiness of the server, especially with the Lost Gen guys leaning into it and making it their thing, i just had to make designs based on it! So here they are :D

Some more rambling about my thought process if anyone cares: obviously the biggest influence for these designs was the glitch where players went completely invisible, but i tried implementing the one where players looked to be floating above blocks as well, hence Martyn floats. If you look closely there's also some lore elements hidden in Martyn's design :)

Cabin Crew design notes under the cut - because I specifically picked each species of fox for a reason T-T

Simien foxes / Ethiopian wolfs - Scar

• Social animal

• Carnivorous

• They are family orientated

• They live together in big groups but hunt alone

• Unlike most social carnivores, the Ethiopian wolf tends to forage and feed on small prey alone

Gray foxes - Scott

• Omnivorous

• The gray fox is specifically adapted to climb trees. Its strong, hooked claws allow it to scramble up trees to escape many predators,

• It can climb branchless, vertical trunks to heights of 18 metres (59 ft) and jump from branch to branch.

• They often move like domestic cats

• Primarily nocturnal

Arctic foxes - Etho

• Can be found in Canada

• Warm white fur that can be used for camouflage.

• They scavenge on carcasses left by larger predators

• Arctic fox dens are used for generations—some are as old as 300 years.

Bengal foxes - Bdubs

• Bengal foxes coexist alongside human settlements, they are not especially suspicious of humans and are ‘easy to tame’

• Pups are playful and energetic

• Predominantly nocturnal

• Omnivorous, opportunistic feeders

• They are vocal, and make a variety of noises toward humans and other species,

thinking once again about how Martyn and Grian were such perfect foils in third life without even trying. Literally beat for beat, they were perfect opposite mirrors of each other

Both ended up in a role serving someone else. Grian unwillingly due to an accident. Martyn happily due to his own choice

Both stayed in their respective right-hand-man roles for the entire season. Grian viewed his situation as an unhappy one and was looking forward to leaving Scar, but still acted as his loyal ally the whole time. Martyn viewed his situation as perfectly acceptable and beneficial, but still planned to betray Ren at some point

Grian never meant to betray Scar, but ended up killing him. Martyn meant to betray Ren, but ended up dying by his side instead

Like you really couldn’t have written it better
