Miraculous Ladybug is so funny to me compared to other superhero/magical girl media, particularly how they get their powers.

For example in My Hero Academia you're born with them and their usefulness is mostly a question of luck and genetics

In One Punch Man and Dragon Ball (and Prime Defenders - very niche reference) some rare people are born with them or acquire them in a supernatural event

In Sailor Moon you gotta be the reincarnation of a goddess

In W.I.T.C.H. (also niche reference) you're chosen by an ancient magical council

In Winx you gotta be an alien fairy princess

In Marvel it depends but if you start off as a normal person you have to at least be a genius and sometimes train for years.

In Carmen Sandiego it's purely technology

Ep38 title is something like "Kumogi no kaeru basho" which translates either to "Komugi's place to belong" or "Komugis place to return to"

So I we have that either she starts to feel like and unwanted third wheel, her original owner finally appears, or both.

The fact that Komugi might start experiencing separation anxiety again....

Remember the very first episode?

How Komugi could not bare even a moment without Iroha? How she finally got to be with Iroha every moment thanks to Mey Mey getting those files settled?

She's gotten better with Mayu and Yuki being there as well, but I do wonder if she'll feel that animal like jealousy of not getting same amount of attention as before from Iroha. Because she is not aware of any different love than her love towards Iroha... damn.

I think it will fit well to the theme of communication and animals, so sure, bring it on. As much as I will dread it lol. In a good way. I hope. haha.

This week's Wonderful Precure episode was EVERYTHING. Emotional, eventful, funny, and FANTASTIC visuals and music.

The buildup from Satoru's confession at the beginning to Iroha's confession at the end was just incredible. And the chase scene was easily my favorite one of the season, without a doubt.

That ending was actually PERFECT 🥺 Satoru and Iroha are so cute together, and their confession at the end of the episode was handled beautifully. I loved this buildup so much!!

This is easily one of my favorite episodes in Wonderful Precure without question. Even despite how little of Precure I've watched altogether, I still feel confident saying SatoIro is arguably the best M/F ship in Precure. They clearly have a special bond, and seeing it expanded so they confess and have an entire episode of them going on a date next week is exciting to see!

Ep36 was very good.

And something I really liked about it is the play with angles and closeups.

there are a lot of scenes where Satoru's and Iroha's faces are intentionally hidden, sometimes to absurdity:

And at some point I noticed there a lot of parts where they are both onscreen that either of their faces doesn't show:

From the moment he confesses (for which I don't have a screen-cap); until Iroha saves Satoru:

When Iroha realizes she doesn't want to let Satoru go. And at the end of the episode when Iroha answers Satoru´s feelings:

There are a lot of details in this episode and its very neat and i think they made the romance in this season very well.

Next is an aquarium date episode (the natural habitat for lesbians in anime) and I don't know how will they handle the romance for now on and to be honest i don't trust Toei to not drop the ball here.

(I took a lot of screenshots but due to image limit per post i had to leave a lot of these out, but i really liked the episode and I´m gonna watch it some more times)
