you didn't like him, you didn't like him.

lee donghyuck; the master manipulator, a liar, an absolute cheater. there is not a bone in your body that wanted this asshole- and you're going to prove it to him tonight.

"ya— haechan!"

the man turns from leaning on his motorbike, and you whipped your palm across his flesh with all of your strength. the night air was cool, dancing through your hair delicately, and he looks at you with a red left cheek- amusement sparkling in his eye.

"princess?"

he smirks at your heated expression and your fists tightened into little balls, eager to land on his protruding jaw. "don't fucking call me that- you, you.."

tears were forming as the word tries to form itself in your mouth, but you couldn't bring yourself to say it. the agony of being used, unwanted and betrayed stung terribly- but he continued to gaze at you with a little smile playing on his lips, clearly enjoying himself tremendously.

"you... bastard?" he teases, coming closer to your trembling figure. "you... fuckboy?" he grins, grabbing your pointed finger and pulling it towards him. "you...?"

donghyuck pouts while you try to supress a sob, and he lifts your chin with his huge hand- shaking his head at the streams pouring across your cheeks. "what were you going to say princess?" he hums as runs his thumb across your lips, and helplessly you pushed him and started running away.

"aww, come on!" he yells at your retrieving figure, his voice loud and mocking. you should have listened when your friends told him he was not to be played with, that nothing could change the fact you were just a body to him. everything he did, from lies murmered in bed that blossomed delicious shivers in your heart, to lingering, faint touches by his lips and fingers on your skin was all but a bitter deception.

a false reality.

it was obvious, donghyuck never needed you— how you wished you could say the same for him.

you never shared your toys or communicate, i guess i'm just a playdate to you.

"damn you, princess."

his groans were hot against your ear as you find yourself tangled in the bedsheets with him once again. he presses his lips against your skin, the two of you aching with the pented up lust and desire for each other.

"how long did i last see you? one month, or one year?"

he smiles and you fell in all over again.

that devilish lift at the corner of his mouth was all it took for you to get on your knees, to submit yourself to him and be everything he wanted. hyuck always treated you so well, how you missed those calloused fingers pushed deep between you thighs. "fuck, your moans are so pretty." the words whispered were filthy, hair plastered to his forehead from the sweat, and for a moment- you've forgotten everything.

forgotten the fact that he used you like a toy. obliberated from the memories of that awful night, when you realised you weren't the only woman he played with, when everything he told you was nothing but a tower of false truths.

the orgasm was that good, and only haechan could lift you to heaven and bring you back on earth for another wondrous joyride. he fucked you until the brink of the rising sun, and made breakfast before grabbing his keys to leave your house.

"i'll call you." he says, and you waved hopefully at him as he walked through your front door.

the days, then weeks passed. you clicked on his number, and waited.

the hospital was quiet, and the room he was in reeked of antiseptic and copper. heavy, synchronised breaths echoed softly in an almost rhythmic tune with the machine beside you, and hyuck tightened his hand around yours, biting his lip.

"do you hear me? i love you!"

his begs fell on deaf ears, and the gas mask strapped over your nose fogged in and out as you respirated, clinging on for every ounce of life. donghyuck claws the rough and scratchy material you were lying on top of, back hunching on the plastic chair as he tries to hold back from breaking down in front of you.

it wasn't as if you'd notice, but that annoying nurse would drag him away from you. shakily, he wipes his eyes and listens to the beat of your heart, dozing off to the gentle sounds..

"don't you get it?" you scream in the rain, drenched to the core— voice filled with fire as you lashed out at him on the open road.

"my heart is not a toy for you to play with!"

"sir? we need you to leave."

groggily, he wakes up- and was immediately blinded by pure white. a piercing ring was drilling in his ears, and that annoying nurse was in front of his face- literally shoving him out.

"no wai—"

"sir!"

"NO WAIT PLEASE- Y/N,Y/N !"

like a child, he calls for your name- arms flailing as the nurse pushes him out of the room and slams the door shut. he made himself look through the window : tubes were carried in and out, silver instruments decorating the table under the glow of yellow lights, and underneath the sea of surgical masks and white aprons- there was you.

as radiant as ever, just as beautiful as the day he first met you.

the man crumbles on the floor, heart wrenching as he begs for a miracle between his lips- desperate for another chance to hold you tight once again, to say he loves you and see your face light up with joy at his words.

"i'll give her everything, god everything—"

he weeps between his fingers, tasting the salt running down his cheeks.

behind the door, the head doctor finally shook his head- and the entire room bowed, accompanined by the monotone beep buzzing from the machine.

donghyuck should have known that he was being too selfish. needless to say, you didn't stick around to give him another chance.

the colour crimson erupts on his cheeks as soon as those words left your mouth. the man in front of you seemed so much more nervous then before, shyly fiddling with the flower you tucked behind his ear.

"t-thank you," he stutters politely, eyes trembling as he tries to meet your gaze. you smiled cheerfully and turned around, heading behind the flashing cameras. "why are you suddenly so red? i must have put on too much blush!" the makeup artist says loudly to herself, and silently you bit back a grin to keep yourself from laughing. oh well, you chuckled lightly- resisting the urge to look back at his expression. he must had gotten too flustered—

it was an enjoyable photoshoot, and he was indeed a blushing natural. it happened too many a time when you caught him sneaking a look at you, as if to make sure you were still watching. maybe its the sugar from the donut you had earlier, or that sip of stong hearty coffee, but your heart fluttered and blood warmed everytime your eyes met. "i swear- i wiped off all my red tint on him," the lady laughs softly to the cameraman, shaking her head. "the poor boy's cheeks were burning, you should have felt it!"

you didn't mean to eavesdrop, but its not like you regretted it. hearing her say that stroked your ego- but you realised was probably distracting him from modelling. immediately, you get up to leave the set, walking towards the spare room for staff members. it was mostly empty, as the rest of them were outside— but it didn't bother you. this was purely a professional decision of course, park jisung is after all too famous to be disturbed.

an hour went by, and you continued scrolling through your instagram feed. it wasn't boring, but part of you felt guilty for leaving him like that. its not like it mattered anyway- he'd probably be grateful that his cheeks turned back to normal and everyone stopped teasing him. the thought of the makeup artist's words yet again brings a smile on your lips. suddenly, the door bursts open. you looked up, and surprise etches all over your face. jisung was standing in front of it, hair still fashionably ruffled and shirt hanging loosely from his torso. immediately you noticed his ear was deflowered, and you raise an eyebrow. "yes sir? anyth—"

"why did you leave?"

he sounded planinative, his deep voice throwing you off. your mouth gaped like a fish and you simply stared at him, trying to find the correct words to string in a sentence. "i, uh-"

"did i do something wrong?" he was obviously worried, and his thick eyebrows knitted together as he waits for your reply. you get up from your seat, eyes widening at the thought that he'd even think of something like that. "no no, of course not-"

"oh okay, um. sorry for barging in like this—" he looks around carefully, as if to make sure nobody was looking. "but i actually wanted to give you something," he says slowly, suddenly interested at the floor. your ears felt like they were on fire, and your heart was pounding like a drum. "that's very nice sir, but-"

"no please, call me jisung." he smiles at you, eyes sparkling like a clear fountain. he pushes his hand forward, and you look at it confused.

it was the flower from before, a yellow carnation. "you said it looks pretty on me," he mumbles softly, twirling its stem between his fingers. his cheeks flushes crimson once more, and you swore all you feel was butterflies swallowing you whole.

"but i think it'd look prettier on you." he places the flower on the top of your palm before hurriedly walking out of the room, the tip of his ears the colour of a ripe tomato.
