Silly thoughts this morning

Spades in Shadows by RozenPine on AO3 I took to starting this weekend and finished up today.It's a hellerby fic that I quite enjoy lol I love vampires and just the supernatural in general. One of the sad things I keep encountering is once you join a fandom that's been around for a little while be it niche.

Is all the unfinished works and the countless I fell out of love for the content that you constantly see. Written out as I'm just not interested anymore. I think it's because there's nothing going on at the moment being that the series is being worked on in the comic is on hiatus for the animation to be brought the life. But it's always a bit disheartening. I'm not saying you can't move on to different things that keep your interest I do it all the time.

I think it's because a fanfic is one of my driving things that I like to read as I create art sometimes. So I reread a few fics just because I like them and I like the way some people write certain characters. Guess this is just my silly thoughts that I want to put out more. I've encounted this in multiple fandoms all the time be it certain characters that get spotlight versus the very popular vote.

I'm not super used to liking super popular couplings all the time and when I do the hate for them is just so strong or it's very loving. I think the whole point of pairing characters who may interact or don't interact together is the whole point of fanfiction.

Then you have the ones where they do interact on so many different levels and it's either written really well or severely out of character. Most times I look for things where it's just centric to the one character I'm reading about a couple is just a bonus.

I like to believe Atlas was pretty similar to Frank Costello. Him and Asa did run illegal gambling rings, plus I don't see him being interested in running drugs. And seeing at that time if you didn't you weren't really a real gangster. I believe it's more a little after prohibition but nonetheless.

I can see Atlas negotiating and talking his way through a lot of things. Seeing that everyone around him was prone to violence and it was bad for business. He had others do it for him of course but that wasn't his first thought, he's more of the manipulative business savvy type.
