dan once described Phil as a "voracious reader" yet we hardly ever get to hear him talk about the books he enjoys. please phil info dump about the latest book you're reading. do a video about the books you read that year and rank them on a tier list. talk about your top 5 novels of all time. the people (me) wanna hear it

phil saying “look at that fetus!” when seeing baby dan. the way he looked at him after. he loves that boy. and he’s loved him through every phase of their life together :((( nobody talk to me. im inconsolable

watching dan and phil has always made me feel like life can get better. when i was a deeply depressed teenager, i saw them as an example that you can end up being happy and doing what you love. now that i'm a confused adult, they're the example that it will all end up making sense.

it's so encouraging seeing people you relate to grow up. it means i will also grow up. it means i have grown up alongside them, reaching new milestones while they reached theirs. im glad i have them as someone i can look up to: someone good, someone kind.

it's also lovely to see them being so soft with their younger selves. they were trying, they were navigating life. they are an example of how to treat your younger version: you must be gentle, you have to understand them, because they were learning as they grew up.

if someone feels like it doesn't make sense: it will. if someone feels like it won't get better: it will. and if you need any encouragement, just watch dan and phil react to their old videos. watch them make the same jokes, talk about their old mistakes and fears, and laugh about it all with more wrinkles on their faces. let them fill you with hope, because there is hope.
