Winter Wolf Cuddles
The pros of having a werewolf girlfriend? Warm wolf cuddles on cold full moon nights. The cons? Good luck if you have to get up or move for any reason, considering the risks involved with waking a werewolf from a good nap...

people who for very silly reasons want to market prepared food products without preservatives in them who then discover why we started putting preservatives in prepared food products in the first place (because without a preservation method food quickly grows stale, and frequently also moldy or downright toxic) is a consistently good bit. like people really seem to think we put Evil Chemicals in food on purpose for no reason.

OKAY TIME FOR MY OPINIONS that are not exactly relevant but eh whatevs.
My spoiler free opinion of Arcane S2 Act 3 is that I just wish the creators did opt for a 3rd season. They didn't in fear of dragging it on and losing quality, but ended up doing too much in too short a time. Upping the stakes that much requires more time to build-up and flesh things out.
Instead of packing everything into S2, I'd have separated S2's Zaun and Piltover plotlines into just one season but still retained buildup scenes, and then S3 would be the big bombastic stuff after tying up other plotlines.
My biggest criticisms of S2 are 1. that they didn't really do a good job of resolving Zaun and Piltover's class feud unfortunately, 2. ep 7 spent too much time on Ekko subplot, and 3. because they went so bombastic and raised stakes like they did, the final Act does a disservice to the two protags whom the series is supposed to focus on; Vi and Jinx. The 3rd point is often what happens when you go too bombastic in too short a span. 9 hours is a long time, but if you're gonna introduce new concepts, etc. in S2 Eps 1-6, you require more time for concepts to be cohesive. Some of my other criticisms of it are more personal preference, but S1 is perfect while S2 suffers the bombastic effect where writers have to follow-up with the hit S1 was, and the risk here is that no matter how talented, writers can go too far on the bombastic storytelling that the rest of it suffers. Stranger Things had the same problem. S2's Acts 1 and 2 were near flawless in my opinion. Those Acts I really enjoyed. Act 3 is good, but it suffered from "too much happening at once" and definitely needed more time to justify all those concepts and ideas. I'm not gonna say it was bad because it's far from that, but Act 3 of S2, despite it being Arcane's conclusion, was the weakest Act of all of Arcane. That's unfortunate given it is the series conclusion and any series coming later by Studio Fortiche and the team behind Arcane won't really be connected to it.
S2 is worth a lot, despite my criticisms of it on rewatch, I did enjoy it a lot and there won't be another show like Arcane. I just think S1 is far more solid a season. Below cut are spoiler critiques and the like if you want to read my in-depth tomfoolery on ACT 3 (Eps 7-9) of S2.
ACT 3 EP 7: This episode took me a bit off guard. It's good in its way, but given the whole of Act 3, a lot of it seems out of place. I didn't expect yet another alternate universe subplot with Ekko and all. I wasn't big on the slice-of-life AU stuff. I can forgive the time-manipulation part given Ekko's ability in game, which I only know from reading about his character after S1 released. The multiverse stuff is just not interesting to me. Too much media does it at this point in time and it's the same concept over and over again with not really anything new attached. I thought this was about the Arcane, not parallel universes.
Especially given what the series is trying to accomplish in the last 3 episodes, simply too much time is spent on a fanfic-type deal with only a small portion of the subplot having real relevancy to the overarching story. Why do it in Arcane when it was already done in Marvel Movies, Marvel's What If? series, and in Across the Spiderverse? Ekko isn't Miles Morales, what is this?
Powder and Ekko romance doesn't pique my interest. Ekko and Jinx's dynamic was far more effectively, artistically, and efficiently done in their battle on the bridge in S1. Too much time was spent here. Yes, Powder in an AU situation is neat, I guess, but with Vi dead I really didn't enjoy that part. All EP 7 really did was waste time the show did NOT have for the setup it was going for.
Things I liked? Jayce in Hell. God those visuals and portrayals of poor Jayce's predicament really got me.
Also this is nightmare fuel for the ages. The mannequin things are creepy as hell.
ACT 3 EP 8: Overall, this episode is pretty solid. It's a buildup episode. I do wish they spent more time with Mel, and more time with her moral conundrum given this has been set up since S1 and had significant setup in Acts 1 and 2 of S2. It's a shame it was rushed. I wish ep 8 spent far more time on Vi, Jinx, and having lost Vander (again) as well as Isha. This series is about Jinx and Vi, why are they sidelined in the concluding 3 eps of their own story? While I appreciate Jinx's low-point portrayal, the complete lack of consideration of Jinx's role as a symbol of Zaun as well as the political upheavals her capture would ignite are completely glazed over in favor of the bombastic Cataclysmic setup for Viktor. This becomes an issue with EP 9 as well. Focusing too much on a bombastic event and sidelining the two primary protagonists of the series is not what I consider a great move. Do I like ep 8? Yes. But it's flawed.
Poor Vi got the short end of the stick in terms of character and expression in Act 3. She felt very....off. Secondary. And that is weird given the series is about her and Jinx. Yes there was the CaitVi hot scene but it didn't feel earned. Why did they make up so quickly? It felt more like fanservice than anything. Zaunites were not given much thought here. Again, why would they help Piltover? A Cataclysmic threat isn't enough to bring people together (just look at what has happened in the last 5 years in reality...).
Things I liked? Mel. Her scene with Ambessa. The scene where Viktor destroys the rest of Vander within Warwick hurt me badly. Viktor and Singed killed Vander a second time. I liked that because of the sheer brutality of what happens when people try to cure death.
ACT 3 EP 9: Shortest analysis on this one. Ep 9 is mostly battle, and the fighting is well done. Jin's suicidality was well done given her mental state. Unfortunately, this one def felt like an unearned battle of the ages given it just starts way too fucking fast without enough buildup. Hell, they start the episode halfway? Through the entire battle. Yes, this is the spectacle episode. It's beautiful, chaotic. But it doesn't feel as satisfying as it could have been.
Vi still seems off. Jinx too. Too much attention diverted from them to Jayce and Viktor. They were by far the best written in this episode, but Arcane wasn't supposed to be about Jayce and Viktor in the cosmic chaos. I wish Jinx and Vi had far more of a role in defeating Viktor's GLORIOUS EVOLUTION given the damn series is about them. Shoehorning mindless space Warwick after Jayce and Viktor disappear into the Arcane and seemingly die in the process doesn't fix this flaw.
What I liked about EP 9: Mel and Ekko were MVPs.
I really liked Vi and Jinx's fights in this episode, alongside Cat and Mel vs. Ambessa. Jayce and Viktor's last scene was heart wrenching despite detracting from Vi and Jinx. Jinx trying to gauge if Vander was still there by calling him "dad." How creepy it was that Space Warwick seemed so alien compared to him in Act 2.
The parallels of Vi and Vander/Warwick at his seeming death got me as well.
I actually like how weird Eldritch Arcane Space Alien Jesus Viktor looks...
I know a lot of contention about EP 9 is Jinx making Vi let go of her and plunging herself and Warwick to their deaths, and I am iffy on suicidal sacrifices in media, but I can see why it was done. I don't mind it in the context of this story. I don't believe Jinx is dead, though, based on some subtle clues by the time the episode ends.
OVERALL: TD; LR: Arcane S2 is a great season overall, but it fails to be great and just is good due to its final Act. If there'd even just been a longer season (maybe an Act 4 with 3 more), almost all issues would have been able to be resolved. I'm still glad we got what we got, but it could've been better.
I watched Arcane and it's great but BOY is it traumatic on the feelings.
I'll rewatch it to actually formulate an opinion though. Tis not perfect, but still awesome.

I finished Arcane
All I have to say is... Thank you
Thank you for this incredible season, incredible act 3, incredible series and... incredible ending
Is it perfect? In some ways yes in some other ways no... So I guess it isn't perfect
But... there is beauty in imperfections

i really wish people had some fucking media literacy. i am VERY SAD about jinx and i have NEVER cried that hard watching a scene in my WHOLE LIFE. but it made absolutely perfect sense for her character arc. she got a redo of the one thing she fucked up on all those years ago, and that was to save her family. vander was gone, she gave him the end he needed. he got to see his kids one last time. she saved her sister. her plot line had no where else to go. she lost EVERYTHING except for vi, the least she could do is protect her big sis one last time. it wasn't rushed. it wasn't out of nowhere. it is DEVASTATING. and we're going to be sad about it. but do NOT whine about "plotholes" and "pacing". they did a phenomenal job and im so happy i got to experience this show.

Simona Kossak (1943–2007) was a Polish scientist, ecologist and environmental activist who dedicated her life to protecting the Białowieża Primeval Forest, the oldest forest in Europe. She was an extraordinary and fascinating personality, known for her close connection to nature and animals. The locals often called her a "witch" because she lived in the seclusion of the forest and seemed to have a special relationship with the animals. Her pet "terror crow" was known for stealing gold and attacking cyclists - an anecdote that is often told. She lived in her small wooden hut, which had neither electricity nor running water, for over 30 years. A lynx occasionally slept in her bed, and a tame wild boar shared her home. Simona Kossak was known not only for her unconventional life, but also for her scientific contributions to nature conservation and her tireless work to protect the Białowieża Primeval Forest. She fought against the destruction of this unique ecosystem and left an important legacy in the field of environmental protection in Poland.
