Jenny's Room

For reasons I'm not quite sure of, I randomly decided to merge my kitchen with my living room, and turned the cleared out space into a recreation of Jenny's room from Chibi-Robo. I just thought it'd be possible since the door placement of this room is about the same as it is in that game.

It would have been perfect if there was a window on the south wall, but such as it is. Also, a tiny toy piano would have been cool for the southeastern corner.

It's been a long time, but I think I've just about "finished" Moonside, so I'm releasing the DA again. I wouldn't say there are any really "impressive" builds on my island, but I'm still pretty proud of it. I didn't quite get to build everything I wanted to (I REALLY wanted a train build, but I just couldn't find a spot to work it in UmU).

That said, I hope y'all enjoy poking around a bit on it~

I also made a short game of it: there are 18 heart crystals scattered around the island at various points of interest. Although they're all in plain sight and don't require any tools to get them, they do blend in with some of the clutter, so keep your eyes peeled for them!

If you send me a screenshot with all the crystals in your inventory in front of your favorite build, then maybe I'll doodle something for ya~ (I'm probably only gonna do the first couple of people if folks actually start doing it)

Also, while I do have some custom designs up, most of the ones on my island aren't mine, and I don't really have a convenient list of all of them. That said, if you see a design that you really want, I'll see if I can find the designer code for you in my favorites list.

ACNH Discoveries(?): I don’t remember if they did this before because I never had a squirrel live on my island, but it looks like they’ll move their tails out of the way when sitting on a chair with a back instead of letting it clip through like some other animals with tails.

She didn’t make any comments about the DIYs I had on the ground, and even sat on top of one. She also had comments about the antique furniture that I didn’t screencap.

ACNH Discoveries: Random villager visit.

Sometimes villagers will visit you unannounced. When you let them in they’ll start interacting with your furniture. If you talk to them, they’ll usually give you a gift and comment on the furniture in your home.

If villagers visit this way, they will stay in the main room and won’t follow you to other rooms. When they’re about to leave, you can request that they stay longer once and then the second time they’ll leave.

I don’t know what friendship level you need to be at with a villager to trigger this, since I have max friendship with most of my villagers.

ACNH Discoveries: Angry Brows

(Pay attention to the preview on the left hand side.) I think it’s a little weird how ACNH handles “color blending” in the design tool, but it is useful to keep in mind how the vividness of the colors interacts with each other.
