pico hellhound AU / AMA

yoyoyo so basicly i was binge playing pico games one night and i had an idea!! what if pico was a demon too? like gf and her parents? but like a really weird demon. so i created a species nicknamed "hellhounds," and theyre basically a hybrid between a canine, snake, and chameleon. some notes:

-inspired by rainwings (look it up)

-fur changes color similarly to a mood ring, but can also change color at will and camoflauge into surroundings

-sprays acid venom from front fangs

-hunts and eats live prey (rodents, small mammals, birds, etc.) but will occasionally consume humans (the only legal situation where a human will be eaten is one in which a living death row inmate is delivered to a hellhound pack)

-hatch from eggs similarly to the way a reptile would

-pups are given a "bloodmark" upon hatching, which is a large scar on some part of their body that corresponds to their mother's bloodline. (basically if your a hellhound, your mom gave you a scar when you were born that everyone on your mothers side has because that's how they keep track of which pup belongs to whom)

-pups which are too weak to properly hunt and fight are killed. this is seen as an act of mercy, as every hound is expected to provide for themselves and everyone in their pack. a pup who cannot provide may lead to the death of many others.

-this is an open species, so feel totally free to make oc's and fanart!

(dont mind the weird colors usually that bluish minty color would be lime green but i was expirementing with this one 💀)
