Fibromyalgia and dating

Sometimes I think whatever divine forces that put me where I am gave me fibromyalgia for a reason. Well, lots probably, but that's not the point of this post. This reason being people are shit. I don't trust most, and especially when it comes to dating nowadays. Plus, no one wants to date a girl who can't go for a walk, have sex (2+ years and counting), and spends a lot of her spare time sleeping and trying to replace her spoons so she can get through the next day. So what a better reason than fibromyalgia is there not to put any real effort to date? Yeah I'm lonely, but at least I'm not getting raped, or stalked or kidnapped or killed by some spurned interest or weirdo creep. People understand the logic and difficulty of dating with chronic pain and illnesses. Most don't understand that, at this point, no one has shown me that most people are worth a damn. Friend, or significant other. And I'm okay. I have the majority of my family to count on, and my amazing pupper Bandit. And he's the only boy I need in my life.
