I have mixed feelings about khux's end...

I always wanted to know the end as soon as possible to fix my ocs' backgrounds for KH3, but now that is really finished I have this bitter taste in my mouth... Also I'm sad that it comes in a moment of my life I'm super busy and have zero time to celebrate it, so many things I would draw. 😭 I'm putting together a couple of quick things I did these last days.

Okay so this started out as a really dumb joke I made with my friend when I first introduced her to Kingdom Hearts; we were going through KH2 after having taken her through Days and when she asked why Axel was kidnapping Kairi I said how sometimes mother penguins who lost their chick will kidnap another penguin’s chick to cope with the sad and that Kairi was just his stand-in for the chicks he lost and it was such a stupid joke but one that stuck with us and in the end I didn’t even draw him as the species that DOES that kind of thing

After seeing that ending I had to do something to deal with my feelings even if it's kinda sloppy art

My KHUX OC Mera, falling to slumber just like all the rest of her friends. Not that it matters too much but she's wearing the pastry cook outfit lol I used to be really good at keeping on top of alt text for my images back on Twitter but def dropped the ball for a while. I'll try to start amending that now.

I have been trying really hard with my kingdom hearts OCs...it was fun, I will admit that, but that doesn’t mean it was an easy job! At least for me anyway...since it was my first time to create my very own characters.

I tried to make them look as neat as possible, and based their designs on the game itself, with some personal arrangements. (Luna was originally going to be black-haired, and Franco would be a silver-haired teen, kupo)

After a while, I thought to myself: do I want them to look in way that, my readers will find out their true identities as the story develops?

...you know what? Let’s do it! If readers actually figure out what’s going on before I get to the “explanation chapter”, that definitely would make me happy! Means that the things I write make sense, and it’s not hard to follow, kupo! XD (seriously Nomura, you need to stop making kingdom hearts harder and harder to comprehend)

Yeah, I know the ancient keyblade wielders are supposed to be either dream eaters...or...you-know-who. Fortunately, I’ve already finished writing the ending before that shocking spoiler, so it has little to no effects on my characters, or the ending. But of course, I had to completely rewrite MoM’s motivation, his involvement with the story, with my personal interpretation on certain aspects about him.
