I have recently developed an obsession with mood boards. So, I do any combination of the following: hogwarts houses, ilvermorny houses, sexuality, gender, patronus, characters (from any fandom), colors, emotions, seasons. If there is something you really want included, just add it in your ask and I'll let you know if it's something I would be comfortable doing. (i.e. I don't like nsfw, abusive or pedophilic ships, or anything attacking another person or group of people) Thanks!
Don't wanna be here? Send us removal request.

So cuuuuute
BLOOMING BREATHS
“I’m a Ravenclaw. I’m super awkward and have a lot of anxiety but I’m also bright and bubbly. Huge book nerd. My favorite subjects are Charms and Transfiguration. I love puns that eternally frustrate my partner. Love makeup but don’t wear it super often. They/them pronouns. My name is Minnie and I’m half blood. My partner, Willow, is a Slytherin. Doesn’t talk to many people but when around friends, she never shuts up. People think she is cool and mysterious but in reality, she is a total dork. A bit grouchy and not super open with her emotions. Loves books as well. Most interested in Herbology and Defense Against the Dark Arts. Loves to do anything to aggravate me. Pureblood. I was thinking a sort of cute first kiss scene? I plan a cute romantic thing that ends up failing and succeeding (if that makes sense).”
The Ravenclaw common room was almost empty this time of night. The cosmic ceiling swirled and sparkled in the dim light. A third year was snoring softly from across the room, slouched on the blue velvet couch, a book at their feet. Minnie, however, was wide awake and studying a large violet Transfiguration text intently. Occasionally, their fingers would skim the pages of a book of muggle flowers. They tried to envision the silky petals and the vibrancy of the colors. Then, they would turn back to their Advanced Transfiguration textbook and study the wand movements required to conjure the flowers on the page.
“Orchideous!” Minnie said with determination.
A sound like a wispy whistle emanated from their wand tip and a single petal with a puff of pollen shot out onto the table in front of them. Minnie sighed sharply and leaned back in their chair, two wooden feet rocking back and forth in their frustration. They need to perfect this, and soon! Tomorrow evening they had a date with the most beautiful Slytherin in their year. After months of flirting in Defense Against the Dark Arts, Minnie had finally asked Willow to hang out. They were to meet down by the Black Lake near the forest, where the overgrowth was the thickest and greenest. Minnie hoped that the seclusion and ambiance would help them to successfully implement their plan. Minnie’s best subjects were Charms and Transfiguration. They hoped to conjure Willow’s favorite flowers and charm them to glow and float in the air, spelling out both their initials together over the glittering lake. After that, Minnie would finally, finally, kiss Willow. They had only been thinking about it since the first time they saw her! Tomorrow, Minnie wanted to make their intentions known. But they wanted to do it with flare. With beauty. In a way that Willow would never forget. In a way that would charm her and delight her. Minnie loved to see her smile. All night, they practiced the spell. Read and reread the section on conjuring and on the specific flower conjuring spell. After a while, they turned to the crumpled-up pieces of paper on the table in front of them to try practicing their Charms again. With a flick of their wand, the pieces of paper swept up into the air. With a turning movement, the pieces glowed. With a wave, they moved into their directed formation and stayed hanging there, dull and unspectacular. They needed the damn flowers! After a few more hours, Minnie managed, with some increased intention and concentration, to produce a handful of small flowers of various colors. They weren’t as extravagant and extraordinary as they had hoped, but they would do. Minnie only hoped that with more emotion and less exhaustion behind their efforts, tomorrow evening they would be able to conjure the flowers exactly as they had pictured in their mind.
Down in the dungeons, Willow lay awake in her bed. She was thinking back to earlier this week when a cute Ravenclaw had finally voiced their interest in her. They had spent so long exchanging books and whispering during class. Minnie’s silly jokes somehow made her laugh and frown all at the same time. She enjoyed how frustrated and flushed Minnie would get when she would return a book with pages still folded to mark her place. Willow knew that strangers found her intimidating and withdrawn. She didn’t participate in class much or converse with her classmates before lectures. But, somehow, Minnie had wiggled their way in under her defenses. When she was with her friends, hanging out in the Clock Tower Courtyard during free periods, Willow would sometimes see Minnie watching her. Watching her laugh and joke, her blonde hair tied up and warmed by the sun. Willow admired Minnie’s style and the way their clothes hung from their tall frame. Looking at them and their short blonde hair and shining blue eyes, Willow knew they could have just about anyone they wanted – even if they didn’t know it themselves. As such, Willow was warry and not too sure what Minnie seemed to see in her elusive grouchiness. But oh, how she did enjoy the attention from the sweet faced Ravenclaw with all the bad jokes.
Willow still remembered the first thing Minnie had said to her in Defense Against the Dark Arts. Normally a class she dedicated all of her attention to, Willow showed up that winter day with a foggy head and a nose rubbed red. A lousy second year had caught some kind of cold over the winter holiday and brought it back, spreading it throughout the common room until nearly half of Slytherin house was coughing and sniffing and snotting everywhere. Including Willow. Trying to keep, small, quiet, and unnoticed in her sickness, Willow slumped into a seat in the back corner and wiped at her irritated nose, marinating in her misery.
“Flu, huh?” Minnie said, leaning over to bridge the little space between them already.
Willow just shrugged, stared ahead blankly, and wondered why Minnie was risking getting sick by breathing the same air as her. She didn’t really feel in the mood to talk to someone she didn’t know anyways.
“That really stinks. But, you know,” Minnie told her, “I heard this year’s strain is going viral.”
Willow could hear the laugh in their voice as they said it. In retrospect, Willow guessed that’s why she allowed Minnie to continue to pester her with puns all the time. Even if Willow didn’t quite like them, she liked how much Minnie did. And how they made them smile and giggle, laughing at their own joke before they could even gage a reaction. She thought them kind of goofy. But they always made her smile. Which made her irritated. The puns always fostered this sort of annoyance mixed with pleasure.
“Get it?” Minnie asked.
“No,” Willow responded after a while, her voice a ghost of a laugh.
“Viral…like on the…internet?” Millie trailed off then perked up and raised their voice to hide their slight embarrassment. “I’m at Hogwarts!”
“Yes, you are,” Willow played along.
“Not everyone has the internet at home!”
“Don’t even know what that is,” Willow admitted, still looking ahead tiredly.
“Okay well,” Minnie backtracked, “I hope you feel better soon. That’s all I was trying to do.”
“What?”
“Make you feel better,” Minnie answered simply.
“Oh, thanks,” Willow said softly, sort of confused.
She watched as Minnie turned toward the front of the classroom to concentrate on their starting lecture and, in a haze, did the same.
After that, Minnie had talked to her in every class. They began to get to know each other and to flirt, in their own little way. Minnie was enthusiastic and lively, and Willow quickly found it easy to mirror their passion when they talked. It usually took a lot longer for her to feel that comfortable…but with Minnie, everything seemed so natural. So, when Minnie had finally asked her out, she had jumped at the offer. The rest of her week had been filled with anticipation and nervousness. What if Minnie saw past her normally cool exterior and didn’t like what she saw underneath? When they were together, alone, things would be so different. Willow didn’t know what to expect. And she didn’t like that. But she liked Minnie. She liked them a lot.
The next morning, the Ravenclaws were woken to the sounds of frustration, then elation, then frustration again.
“Orchideous!” they heard someone shouting with feeling. Good intent. Good passion. Bad timing.
Minnie was entirely unsure how this evening would pan out. On one try, they would get large, smooth, beautiful flowers that floated in the air as if on the glassy surface of a placid pond. On the other: pollen, thorns, and loose petals that would spray out in a powerful poof. There was no way to tell which outcome they were going to get. Their nerves were too shot. Too back and forth. Excited to nervous. Eager to petrified. Finally, after a few passive aggressive grumbles and glares from their fellow Ravenclaws, Minnie decided there just wasn’t any use. They couldn’t practice anymore. Whatever was going to happen, would happen. They just prayed that seeing Willow, being there with her, would be enough inspiration for them to execute the spell properly.
Later that evening, Willow walked down to their meeting place alone. Her chest felt tight but also fluttery. Her skin was vibrating in the lingering late spring heat. Her footsteps felt heavy and clumsy. She felt apprehensive and fervent. Her face felt warm and she noticed she was smiling. Through the rich green growth, Willow spotted Minnie and they locked eyes.
“Hey!” Minnie called out with a curt, tense, wave.
“Hi,” Willow sighed in answer. As soon as she was in the little enclosed clearing with Minnie, all of her anxiousness evaporated up into the air to mingle out with the mist rising up off the lake. Her eyes darted down to their lips.
“I’m glad you came,” Minnie said to her. They seemed on edge but moving close to them, Willow could feel the excitement buzzing off their skin like electric currents.
“Me too,” Willow said.
“I,” Minnie began but then stopped when Willow touched their hand without thinking.
“Yes?”
“I have something to tell you. Something to show you. Something,” Minnie paused, took a breath, and then continued.” Something to show you and then tell you. Ask you.”
“Alright,” Willow said, her voice almost shaky.
She wished she seemed more confident. But, at least Minnie seemed just as nervous. Oddly, the more awkward Minnie became, the more relaxed Willow became. Almost as if she was trying to calm them by proxy.
Minnie stepped out to look over the lake, their back towards Willow. She watched as their shoulders rose and fell with three full breaths and then, “Orchideous!”
Large, lush flowers bloomed from the tip of Minnie’s wand. Willow watched as they stopped to float in the air, more appearing near them. Then, their form shaking – thrilled – they turned their wand ever so slightly and the blooms began to shine and gleam. Willow’s heart shone with them, her breaths coming slow and deep. With a wave, they began to move into some kind of pattern. Was that a W? A M? Willow couldn’t tell, for all at once, the blooms moved faster and faster until their independent light was streaking zig zags in the air quite strikingly. She was mesmerized. Minnie, however, looked devastated. Finally, they swirled together until they were one, multicolored bright light which expanded in a powerful poof, sending petals and glitters of light raining down unto the earth and lake waters. A few petals fell into Willow’s hair and she laughed, holding her hand out like she was catching snowflakes. The glitters of light were warm in her palm until they blinked out slowly – others still reflecting in the waves of the Black Lake.
“That was incredible,” Willow exclaimed. “How did you manage that? Would you teach me?”
“I can’t teach you,” Minnie almost pouted, “because I don’t even know how I did it.”
“I don’t understand,” Willow said, still fixated on the twinkling lights and falling petals all around them.
“The flowers were meant to spell out our initials. And then I was going to ask you…”
“Ask me what?” Willow wanted to know, her full attention on them.
Minnie stepped towards her, picking a petal out of her blonde hair. Willow felt them so close, their breaths were intermingling and growing quick.
“Can I kiss you?” they asked her. Willow felt their voice more than heard it. She only nodded shakily as she felt Minnie’s fingers at the back of her neck, right against the skin.
When their lips finally touched, Willow saw flowers and light explode behind her eyes and she tasted honey on their tongue.

Dude, storytime.
So, my girlfriend of now six-ish months and I were the producer and director of a student written play in our high school, right? This was before we had started dating and I had a pretty big crush on her. Well, I decided I would tell her how I feel at the cast party after the shows were over so I could avoid her if it all went wrong, ya know, like you do.
Anyway, we were at the party and I had been procrastinating because there were too many people and I’m a coward. Fast forward to about midnight. There are like, ten people left at the party. Three of them are important to this story. We’ll call them Mike, Mary, and Gunther. Mike and Mary had known about my crush for a while and were encouraging (forcing) me to go through with my plan (note: Mike also knew about my gf’s (we’ll call her Willow) crush on me and DIDNT TELL ME). Gunther was the host of the party and had a habit of commanding a room when he wanted his way.
So anyway, it’s midnight, we’re all chilling upstairs and Mike and Mary pull me off to the side and start bugging me about confessing to Willow and ask if they can tell Gunther so he can help. I concede. So they tell Gunther and immediately he suggests everyone go down to the basement and for Willow and I to get drinks.
So, they all head downstairs and I go over to the drinks and I’m contemplating how to bring down ten drinks when there are only two cups and trying to avoid what I’m supposed to be doing. Willow stares at me for a minute and the following conversation ensues:
Willow: Why does Gunther get to know who you like and I don’t? (It was a well-known fact I did not like Gunther)
Me: *long pause* because it’s you
*another long pause as She digests this, I assume she is thinking of a way to gently reject me and I panic*
So then I, the wonderful genius I am, hastily grab the two-liter of Dr. Pepper and BOLT downstairs. It should be noted that I was wearing socks and Gunther’s floors are hardwood so I was sliding and nearly fell as I turned to go down the stairs. Naturally, she chases after me but by the time she gets down there I’m hiding behind Mike, cradling the Dr. Pepper.
We all sit downstairs for a little while, Willow staring me down the entire time, before Gunther herds us all back upstairs. So, now we’re all upstairs and I have glued myself to Mary to save me. She does not save me. Instead, she steals my phone and types a very heartfelt message to Willow and SENDS IT. Willow’s initial reaction is to call my name and try to initiate conversation so I decide my best course of action is to run, yet again, in socks, on hardwood floors. This time, however, I run to the mud room and I’m ultimately cornered by Willow.
We talk it out and I realize “hey, she does like me!” and the rest is history
I love it in fanfiction, movies, or in some type of series where Person A confesses thier feelings or Person B just finds out about Person A’s feelings and Person A is doing dumb ass shit to escape an awkward situation
Even though it hinders growth I really fucking love it
